- Winter’s here, and let’s face it-dressing for the cold can feel like choosing between warmth and a fire fit. But it doesn’t have to be that way. After this video, it won’t be.
I’m going to show you how to build a winter wardrobe that’s cosy, stylish, and practical. No bulk, no fuss-just smart layers and sharp looks. Let’s dive in!

This type of video from someone of your caliber... this is gonna be good🔥✌️
Hope it matched the expectations. 😊
Dilling proper job for merino underwear great video again
Thanks 👍 yeah. Filling are the best.
Nice one Matt more content please ❤
Trying my best to
Thanks for putting me on to Dilling- my fiancé has been using heat tech for many years and is not loving how her garments have degraded. I’m excited to see her put the properties of wool to the test!
Ah. They have not worn well? I never used them long enough to get to that point. Yeah. She’s going to love Dilling then.
Fantastic, mate! I recently added a few loopwheeled sweatshirts to my collection on and trip to London and they have made all the difference in layering and overall outfit construction. Found this brand Allevol thanks to someone over at Clutch Cafe, and it has become a staple piece for me.
I remember when Taca started Allevol. Just an indigo dyed shawl collars cardigan. He’s done super well with it.
love where did you get that suade shirt ?
It’s from Indigofera. It’s a few years ago now but they often have leather shirt in the lineup.
Hello from FRANCE, happy to see you again. Thank you for this video, a good reminder of the winter basics and especially the merino underwear pants and long sleeve tshirt. One question, the brand of the shirt you are wearing in this video?, it seems that it is made of suede, beautiful color. Kind regards.
That’s from Indigofera from few years back. I was not sure about a leather shirt but they are surprisingly good.
@@CeeAreDee thanks 👍
Don’t forget Feathered Friends for down.
Oh don’t know that one. I’ll check it out.
Happy to see you publishing videos on a more regular basis but I feel you try to tackle too many things in one video . Each of theses chapters would have deserved their own video. And I feel that you shouldn’t overlook Moncler for the down jackets. Trends set aside , my family and I have been wearing their products for the past 35 years and we have never been disappointed
what! no shorts! here in London its swim shorts n puffer jackets
Oh true. What an oversight 😂
What's winter like? I forgot.
I moved to Sicily last year and it's 24c in February. All my nice winter jackets may as well be burned for all the good they do me.
lightsaber... best coat e'er from subtitle suggesty. I don't get much use outta peacoats and such in my climate, tho. may have mentioned before. I got a gloverall duffle coat that is absolutely ne'er gonna fit over any layers in this size, but the sleeves come down pretty too far if memory serves. neigh sure is puffer actually the lightsaber, tho.
leave the cardigans at home mostly where they belong. the other sweaters can also be tricky here, but I still collect them annually.
none o' those boot brands tops my list, but I'm still neigh completely sorted on the best overall option for all situations. Obviously this is mostly covering casual wear instead o' work gear, that which there can be dedicated insulated version but also can have steel toe or other issues. mitigating warmth vs. comfort and all that....... I have a couple that I bought as regular, but they run big so can only be worn with thick, warm socks, which makes them "winter" boots by default, etc.
Wearing something UNDER the scratchy pants should fix that. guys made fun o' me that time for the field trip w' the school group for the spandex running pants, but made the cheap wool trousers that were VERY EXTREMELY scratchy completely bearable for the hot day and such. But don't know how that would have felt in cold weather or if the merino undies would work the same in warmer or room temp or then be too hot in non-winter applications, etc.
Ebbett's Field is good luck w' the sizing a bit. Don't know how much they will stretch out if a size too small, but then may require some stitching or something if run too big and sliding around on head. Stormy Kromer also need t' be a bit bigger size maybe, but then the earflap isn't really any warmth layer. Cheap, unfashionable options are always available, o' course, what that I ne'er see anybody wearing any trad hunty hat styles much around here, tho. I hate having cold ears. [I don't know if anybody else still makes WOOL ballcaps since most seem t' be ALL poly now unless still finding the cotton ones for summer use.]
umbrellas are lightsavers, tho. which I guess means they flip off the switch when leaving the room or keep setting your clocks ahead when ye neigh looky?
