@@nitroxylictv Not just that, but ribbon mics tend to be extremely fragile (well the ribbon inside to be specific). You could destroy one by sneezing onto it 😂

@@leowalless9328 as much as musicians want to "experiment" or "try stuff out", it's not fun being the engineer that has to sit through that. Imho, studio is the place for capturing performances. You should come practiced and prepared.
This is cause of the ribbon can break if you move it too fast. Often they will come with 'socks' so you can move them safely and not worry about the 'wind' breaking them.
Honestly, Andrew and Rob being their own house band is the best joke.

I have to say the audio engineering for the theme song is insane (ofc, its expensive af). All these sounds put together should sound terrible but damn the engineering is awesome.
I feel like the REAL money here would have to go to the audio engineer for mixing ALL of this down.

I'm so sad this show isn't real... wait...is it real? I don't know, but I'm going to assume it isn't so I don't get my hopes up. A show with Andrew and Rob every other week would be so amazing!!

There are no words to describe how happy I am to see this. The First of October is one of my favorite things on the internet, so I'm super excited to see more of what you two will make!

I think it would be very cool to have a different combination of instruments playing the theme song everytime it is used in the series, or maybe it could be used to indicate a new chapter inside an episode. You probably have already recorded and edited multiple episodes so my idea is probably useless anyway, but I really like this first episode !

Saw the title, heard you mention the name of this scenario is called "sonic boom" and my first assumption was that you guys were gonna pay to have a jet pilot do a low super sonic pass to record the sonic boom. Hire a jet to do a supersonic flyover so you could record an actual sonic boom. That would probably be more expensive.
