i'm happy that this compilation helped you!! thank you for your words, i hope you can find more things that can help you with depression, mindfulness and exercise helped with that in those times, (there are more things) i hope you are ok, i send you big energy!!
I was in several blues bands. After a while I quit (not musiacal reasons). I stopped listening to music at all for several years. I discovered Japanese math rock. ( Tricot was my first ) Now I listen to music again. Depression was a part of that. I feel better now. Thank you to all the Japanese bands that helped me.
Thank you for your comment!! i hope you can discover a new music genre to dive into!! if you want more "Jazzy Sound" you can check the band "Monobody" , and "CHON" i suggest the lives sessions of both bands on "Audiotree", also there is a lot of math Rock Japanese sound mixtapes and compilation here on youtube, cheers man!!
thank you so much for properly crediting and linking the artists and artwork you used in this playlist! theres so many playlists from other genres that dont credit or even use ai art. havent listened to math rock in a while, things have been stressful lately so this will be perfect to relax to :)
I only recently learned that this is called math rock and it's so good to finally have a term to describe this style of music that I have heard in media my entire life and one that has had such a huge influence on me,. I always get a massive sense of nostalgia and longing anytime I hear music like this. You get a knot in your throat and every good memory that you have ever had hits you all at once. It's a bittersweet but good feeling haha.
Another Japanese mathrock band that I would highly recommend is Cuckoo, they only have 4 songs and a bonus track but they are each masterfully made imo, my favorite off their Magpie EP is York, Nebraska. Such a beautiful song, and thank you for this playlist! ❤
I have to accept things are possible, even if I'll never have the capacity to make them so In my own right I do the impossible And in the right of others, they contain their own improbabilities that I will choose to be astounded and bewildered by I am not my failings and yet I will always hold them dear to my heart Let others breath for me Let others speak for me Let others be for me Because the world cannot be whole just from one person And one person can only be whole by accepting their world
Life Is woth living!!, maybe your comment is a joke, but i hope you are ok, things change all thetime, and sometimes we can make the change, the change for the good, nice and peacefull life, i hope you are ok, i send you a big hug an energy from here!!

Thank you for the compilation! It's a great playlist to jog all the school requirements and other busy stuff while chilling with the music at the same time XD
Thanks for the great compilation! It reminds me of some post-rock compilations I would listen to back in 2017 during my freshman year of university. Such odd memories...
Murphy Radio is way too good. Weird, i had this on in the background and i know of them vaguely. Of all of the songs, this is the one that hit my ears as on another level from the rest.
Same as the other guy, depression got me away from listening to music for a long time. Doing great on the exercise and nutrition front, but I'm conspicuously lacking mindfulness and quality sleep schedule. Something to work on. .... After I go partying tonight LOL
Wow..... Wow. This hit right in the feels, but like in the positive feels. The motivating feels. The inspirational feels. I never heard about math rock, but I'm so glad this appeared in my feed! Thank you so much for making this!!!!
@@awhaleandadeer8785 thank you so very much for thinking of all of that and sharing it with us! The order of the songs are so good 🙂. I can't wait to hear your next compilation. Other math rock compilation are starting to appear on my feed, but this one is by far the best! It gives me the most positive and uplifting and freeing feelings, and that's what I want in the music I listen to. I just never know what category it is. This is easily one of my all time favorites! And if you have time, I'd love to hear more compilation by you. :)
23:27 Is this a different version of Eternal Moment than the "ambient guitar" track from the album *Almost Blue* ? The sound levels seem a little different
Yes! this is other version, i like it a little bit more so i put it on the mix, Yutaka Hirasaka make nice chill music, (not so much math rock related) but i recommend it, if your are looking for similar stuff.

this genre is the furthest away from the so called "NPC music". NPC musics tend to have repetitive progression, melody and are in 4/4. they always tend to have vocals. math rock is a very complicated genre which utilizes the most of each instrument and the players. and finding people who genuinely enjoy math rock is quite rare.
