Hakuna Matata, Man, Math Rock can be hard, but I will say this was not so difficult!, (comparing the difficulty with other songs of the genre) is a beautiful and totally playable song on guitar, I have to say the Delay/No band part was hard, because you have to count in amalgam beat whitout any other instrument, so you can lost the beat and tempo very easily. Great track list! FYI, Murphy Radio is a Math Rock Band from Indonesia actually.
Murphy Radio is way too good. Weird, i had this on in the background and i know of them vaguely. Of all of the songs, this is the one that hit my ears as on another level from the rest.

So glad I found this! I was not familiar with this genre but I am absolutely in love with it now and will be supporting some of these artists!
I rely on youtube playlists like this to find new songs and artists. Thanks for putting in the legwork for me
Tabar aren't on spotify :'(
Thanks for the great compilation! It reminds me of some post-rock compilations I would listen to back in 2017 during my freshman year of university. Such odd memories...
Another Japanese mathrock band that I would highly recommend is Cuckoo, they only have 4 songs and a bonus track but they are each masterfully made imo, my favorite off their Magpie EP is York, Nebraska. Such a beautiful song, and thank you for this playlist! ❤
Whoa... Opening of T.N.T. sounds amazing...
@@azlion2003 I KNOW!!! I love that song, it really is a work of art the song structure is perfect imo
@@NothingNowhere69420 It truly is... Rest of the song is as perfect as the opening, definitely adding to my playlist. Thx for sharing.
@@azlion2003 No problem! Love sharing some Math Rock gems, any recommendations for me though?
@@NothingNowhere69420 Maybe 'Vow Of Silence' or 'Steps' by Planets?
I only recently learned that this is called math rock and it's so good to finally have a term to describe this style of music that I have heard in media my entire life and one that has had such a huge influence on me,. I always get a massive sense of nostalgia and longing anytime I hear music like this. You get a knot in your throat and every good memory that you have ever had hits you all at once. It's a bittersweet but good feeling haha.
This is really good. Thanks for putting it together.
thank you so much for properly crediting and linking the artists and artwork you used in this playlist! theres so many playlists from other genres that dont credit or even use ai art. havent listened to math rock in a while, things have been stressful lately so this will be perfect to relax to :)
I have to accept things are possible, even if I'll never have the capacity to make them so In my own right I do the impossible And in the right of others, they contain their own improbabilities that I will choose to be astounded and bewildered by I am not my failings and yet I will always hold them dear to my heart Let others breath for me Let others speak for me Let others be for me Because the world cannot be whole just from one person And one person can only be whole by accepting their world
Japanese rock musicians are just doing music. so much respect to them, I love the new sounds
