I've been using this press for 7 years, and have zero complaints. I would recommend stocking a bag of the plastic control panel toggle switches. Changing out a blown switch takes 5 minutes if you have one on hand. I use drilling techniques similar to those described in this video; John is absolutely correct about this.
Brunswick had deep engraving for the serial number. The suction was bad. Just put tape over the engraving and viola good suction. That separate clamp work good too.
If I drill according to the thumb angle line you explained. It will not work. My thumb will be twisted. However, if we moved the thumb angle line to the opposite side, it works perfectly. The drilling must follow the angle of the thumb not the direction the thumb moves.
The virtue of thumb angle and CLT drilling is that the correct lateral pitches are a natural byproduct of these drilling techniques, and the resulting pitches can be measured and converted to the vertical grip line for subsequent drillings.
Hmmm, I wonder what it will cost the customer to get their ball fitted and drilled knowing that just a keyless chuck costs 375 bucks. I am almost certain that for us chumps that try to bowl for a living, it will cost both arms and both legs for some precision work so we can bowl better. Now say that is just on one ball OK. Say now you got an arsenal like 6 or 8 balls, you better have some extra change in your pockets, because they have to find a way to recoup what they paid for on that Drilling machine. By the way that is not a milling machine on this video. The bits for me would be diamond coated drill bits and those will last a lifetime.
