I've been listening to Deicide for 30 years and now I saw them live for the first time in Mannheim, Germany. It was carnage and people went nuts unlike these smartphone wielders here....
What I don’t get….even if you watch it later it’s gonna sound like crap recorded with a cell phone lol. I guess the point is to post on social media and show all your friends that you were there or whatever
I liked this performance. They were loud enough to be heard across the wall, all the way down to the river where I was taking a well needed dip after the day. Best theme song for washing off the sunscreen. Thank you for that.
Deicides live performance of the Leigons material sound better then the studio recordings. They should re record some of those. Glen and Steve were way ahead of their time. They are the only ones from the original lineup that have really put a lot of effort in this, work hard and make the right business decisions to get on these big tours. Since Glen and Steve took over fully they got signed to major record labels, acquired really A game musicians to play the material. I am also really impressed with Glens bass playing on this tour. His sound is nice and thick and he is shredding all those riffs on the bass like its second nature AND doing vocals. Steve Ashiem is also very underrated. In my opinion he is the Neil Peart of death metal.
Are you kidding right? There is no way they sound better than the brothers, Legion perfection is only by them. I was in this concert, the solos were massacred.
@@darwinism14 Not even Eric or Brian played any of their solos spot on. Watch that dvd with them on it. I dig Taylor and Kevin more. They play all Deicide stuff well and it isnt easy. I did prefer the Hoffmans until Taylor joined. Him and Kev sound punishing together. A lot of time has gone by and Eric and Brian are long gone. This is the best new lineup Deicide has had i think.

The original studio version with the Hoffman brothers is a million times better than this. Your ears are broke.
