We were all expecting them to beat Haas, but the Alfas too? That was an outstanding job from Latifi to put in a great lap to take advantage of Tsunoda's incident. Almost beat out russell for the first time if Russell couldn't keep it in the top 15.
@@dqve11 He almost was in this qualifying, but the key to be one of the best is consistency. Maybe he can show this season that he is one of the best but we have to wait for that and not judge it by a single qualifying. The only thing that's clear after the first race is that Mazepin is an idiot.
People should know the cars are not identical. They will be running different setups, aero packages, etc. as they develop improvements and try different things to see the results.

Because actually SF21 (Ferrari car this year) is SF1000 (last year car).they just change Power Unit and Front nose. This year Ferrari just want to know the car behave in some tracks, to knowing the car performance. But we knew this car faster in Low speed corner like Monaco, Hungary, Singapore track but struggling in straight like Monza, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Sochi GP.
Outqualifying max verstappen is someone gasly or albon has done. So that cements his place at Red Bull. And it shows he had a lot of pace being less than a tenth down on Lewis Hamilton. As well as this, he never set purple sectors showing that he’s also very consistent.
As much as I would love this season to be competitive. I do not believe he has what it takes to take on Ham over a season. Over a race weekend definitely but he makes too many mistakes to win WDC. I could be wrong but I don't see it happening.

Ham is just top notch and I'm a fan from the beginning but I'm also extremely satisfied with the competition. This is already a very exciting season, can't wait to see how it ends!

I have dedicated my time to watching him race and deliver even in the most crucial moments. He always encourage himself and speak positivity, Never a time for bad vibes. He is the best qualifier, tyre manager and consistent driver just like his mentor Ayrton Senna.
Yet because of his admittedly very minor mistake, he ended up being outqualified again by his brand new teammate who was desperately struggling for pace all day.

I know everyone here is talking about Perez and Norris but a big shout out to Lewis and Mercedes. They clearly had the second best car in the first race and Lewis still managed to pull through. In this quali, Lewis is really showing why he's considered to be one of the best drivers ever. You can see the blistering pace that Lando and the Redbulls are carrying but Lewis still managed pole by perfecting the lap. Kudos.

Great performance by Lewis. No doubt he will get 100 poles. and I feel so sorry for Norris, my heart raced when he took 2 and both Williams qualified Q2 so happy for them.
Ham is just top notch and I'm a fan from the beginning but I'm also extremely satisfied with the competition. This is already a very exciting season, can't wait to see how it ends!

I have dedicated my time to watching him race and deliver even in the most crucial moments. He always encourage himself and speak positivity, Never a time for bad vibes. I know everyone here is talking about Perez and Norris but a big shout out to Lewis and Mercedes. They clearly had the second best car in the first race and Lewis still managed to pull through. In this quali, Lewis is really showing why he's considered to be one of the best drivers ever. You can see the blistering pace that Lando and the Redbulls are carrying but Lewis still managed pole by perfecting the lap. Kudos.
I am not hamilton hater or lover but my respect, for this dude, is increased. He is showing his worth.
