Shalimar is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year so I’m really hoping they will bring out something special! Happy New Year and thanks for your always so honest and well put reviews! You calling some indie perfumes messy really described what I wasn’t able to articulate yet, it’s also a feeling I get with many of the „natural“ perfumes.
@ Let’s hope it won’t come to that :D I‘m sure there will be some kind of flanker for us plebs, I mean Guerlain has released one yearly for the last years without a jubilee 🍀
I really enjoy your thoughtful videos and appreciate your honesty in expressing your dislikes, especially of releases that get a lot of love from others. I also love Angel Olson! Happy new year!!
Love, love Angel Olsen and that song is truly beautiful. Very much enjoyed your perfume review too. I did that dream half awake/asleep thing with Nick Caves Ghosteen a few years back. Used it as going to sleep music. It imprinted in such a way that when I saw him perform tracks from it at at live concert I burst into tears of sweetness and sadness. Wonderful.
Wow, you have very good taste! Pourpre d’Automne and Iris Poudre are in my top 15 for life. I was very sad to hear they decided to discontinue Pourpre d’Automne 😢 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year ✨ ♥️☺️❤🥳
“Oh gosh there’s four of them” actually lol’ed. Great video, inspired year! My New Years Day scent is Jubilation 40, which I got after your vid. Loving it. Where is the Indigo store you mentioned? And love when you throw in a non perfume insight! Todays music! Keep em coming! Happy New Year!
@@orosz4001 😂 thanks!! I think Indigo is in Ohio but I've just ordered from them online. They've stocked some houses that I've not found anywhere else in the U.S. like Ånd and Boujee. I almost went with Jubi 40 for NYE as well, Happy New Year!
Great Overview with a nice mix! I completely stopped buying sample sets except for the Amouage Essence Trio.. think will try to keep it that way if I can get individual samples or get to test at a boutique..
@@minhnguyenquang7220 nice! I agree, there's a lot of redundancy in the line and I think I'm good with the ones I've got now. I do still want to try the newer one Saddle though!
@@cheapimitation2242 I find it too ambery/ vanillic for my taste, it also doesn't really evoke the sense of a horse saddle or equestrian in general. But as a standalone perfume, I supposed it should be a commercial hit. Parfum d'Empire does have interesting equestrian- related scents though.

The something special will probably only be available to the top 1%

Did you try Lush Lust in your Jasmine hype?

Forgot to mention that that Le Lion is my favorite perfume atm. It’s just exquisite and addictive.

Great video. I hope you have a fantastic 2025!
@@mikeczyz thank you!

@sailorlilly I don't sorry! I am active on Basenotes but I never use the wardrobe feature. Maybe one day I will do a full collection overview.

@@pradeep_sekar thanks! Yea, boycotting expensive sample packs in 2025! 😂
Got my cuir mauresque coming this week. Can’t wait!
@@NotstarvinMarvin Nice, hope you like it!
You have 3 of my favs there… Le Lion + Comete and Frederick Malle.
@@_TANBEE Great minds think alike! 😂
I have the Cartier X I I, which is also good 👍.
@@user-bg9ws7ys4k yes me too, like it a lot!
Perfumer H was one of my favourite discovery of this year, even though the house's DNA is too apparent thus making the scents feel abit repetitive.

where can we find your music?
What is the one from Cartier
@@JaydenTheAntisocialite Must Parfum in the red bottle and XIII toward the end.
yeah - i wanted to blind purchase Le Lion but affraid that is superstrong, not tamed, elegant, only raw and roaring loud too much
