    There is no way Tom landed a corporate job like he claimed with a felony criminal background and not even an education in the field. 0% chance he is telling the truth. Love watching him flounder though.

      I've heard that he's also a cunning linguist (no, this isn't a sock account. Tom would never do that, he's fair)

    Just found out I’m a linguist because I know some words in Spanish. Sick. I’m putting that on my resume rn.

    I would honestly have no problem with Tom……if he didn’t act like he was some sort of to cool for school Chad before coming to the internet. Like bro have some self perception……”oh yeah I never watched famous media when I was in high school cause I was to busy being the star QB and fucking the entire cheerleading squad” 😝 😝

    Quick test to find an actual linguist:
    Ask them to rougly define the differece between the following:
    Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics and Grammar.
    Edit: Also love how EVERYONE treats "linguistic marketing/-er" as anything else but BS corporate lingo for a basic communications course/a fancy job title for people with 0 qualifications 😂

    I've heard Tom say he's 35, but his "last time getting locked up" was in 2008? Depending on his birthday, that would have made him either 18 or 19? Idk dog.

    Tom doesn't know how to create a believable character in his lies.
    If this professor existed and read his gender doc and thought it was bad he probably wouldn't have wanted anything else to do with it. He would not have asked him to improve it for the purpose of using it in his classes, there are plenty of essays from credentialed writers who would provide perfectly adequate material.

    Oh man. I’m a Kuihman fan, I’m pretty sure he’s usually in good faith. But when it comes to Tom he throws all that shit out the window! Lol.
    Tom was absolutely right when he called out Sunday on the Pizza Hut meme. Sunday was %100 intentionally trying to be misleading and minimizing.
    The funniest part is that call out could also unironically strengthen his language expert claim 😬

    If he ever does another debate on this. Ask him to differentiate linguistics, marketing, and linguistic marketing.

    No matter what Tom does he always comes off as someone trying to con you. He talks like a conman. Im pretty big on rehabilitation and believe people can change. I'm also an addict in remission. Tom just sets off that "this person is going to rob me when I fall asleep" alarm I developed while using. He comes off like you are talking to someone mimicking human behavior. A lot of twitchpol come off that way tbh.

    I bet i know what kind of law firm he worked for, i did as well at one point. I can also see why it's causing a confusion. He's well overstating what his position was. It's a phone sales job, the business is owned by a firm and has some standards to uphold by the firm for the sake of the lawyers, but it's a sales job.

    • @ClingyKiwi
      @ClingyKiwi 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @diwataluna nah it's sales.
      Big over explanation: Like the company I worked for was a sister company to the firm company, owned by the same. We had other sister companies.that did the same as Tom describes but it's the same job with a different part of the product. So like he was a cmortgage consultant" in the same way I was a "credit consultant". I took calls, under the firms name, that were transferred from rent to own, mortgage consultants, etc of people with crap credit. And I'd review their credit with them, explain how credit works, and then try to sell the firms credit repair services. The services I sold was done by the the firm, namely by a slew of "paralegals" by thr standards of the lawyers who run the ship. Because of that I had normal PCI standards and such but also very very careful handling and phrasing because I big mishap could put the lawyer's bar at risk. The services were legit and good, our standards were HIGH, and I would very much have considered myself a credit consultant because they certainly trained to the level that I know far more about how credit works than anyone I've met... that said, it was a SALES JOB.
      Those who wrote the scripts and stuff were script writers/process development for sales/marketing and everything was reviewed by lawyers before going live. To say it was anything more than that is FAR overstating what it is. And the way he puts it out characterizes the job/business to be different than it is.
      I cant say 100% that he worked for the same kind, but it sounds exactly like it

    Social constructs do not require intentionality. They are a result of constructing society. What was he even saying there? The problem is that some social constructs are there, regardless if we meant to put them there, they're still there. Depending on what he was talking about there he has 0 understanding to negative understanding of society.
