    This video is going to be on installing a new windshield gasket on the 74 F350 dually. Along with replacing/repairing the cab roof lights, some of the lenses are broken and one housing is damaged.
    I've never attempted replacing a gasket like this before so I called in some back up! A friend of mine that has a 68 mustang has replaced both his windshield and rear glass gaskets so that should help a lot. I wanted to repair the cab roof lights to finish up the exterior of the truck so I can get it out of the drive way!
    Still would need to get the front grill back on and new mirrors but she's super close to a first drive!

    Agree with the 'Attitude'...! Nice work.! Been working on my '73 F250 camper special... windshield and back glass is next. I have the chrome trim with the crome corner moldings... hoping its not too difficult. You made it look easy! 👍👍👍

      Thank you for watching! This was actually my first time doing this, my buddy helping was a big help. I want to get those chrome moldings for my 70 but I heard it’s a bit more difficult to get it set with those. Let me know how it goes

    No glazing or gasket sealer?

      I plan on adding sealer at a later time just in case I need to remove the windshield for some reason. The truck is not on the road yet. Looking into it taking the sealer and cutting a decent size opening in the tube you should be able to insert it between the gasket and channel on the truck and apply a good amount while moving along all the channels that’s what I plan on doing once I get it on the road. Thank you for watching!

    Hey there, I want to add cab roof lights to my truck. Could you please give me the measurements of the spacing of the lights on the roof?

      Sorry took me to long to reply keith. Do you have a dentside truck also? Would be tough to get good measurements.

    That looks a lot better without that rotten wood covering the back window. I may have missed in another video, but are you planning on keeping the flat bed?

      Thank you! I’m not sure, I want to remove it for now because it’s welded to the frame! Plus the frame has some extensions so I’m going to cut it back to factory length. The flatbed is kinda rough though, would be fun to build a new one.

    Good 👍 video bro , the window gasket came out good , hows the 70 doing ?

      @AJsGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks bro, I still need to add the sealer to make it waterproof looks a lot better though. The 70 is good! She’s tucked away in the garage, unfortunately there isn’t a lot of work to do right now. I need to order a new horn ring to install all that. I already have the actual horns that go in the engine bay but I want to do it all together.

      @@jr.torres4491 Nice! I haven’t quite decided what to do for a stereo in my truck yet. I might put one in but hide it under the seat.
