I was among the first visitors to be present on the first day of the Expo 67 when it opened; I think it was April12, 1967. I looked at the faces in the crowd that the video clip shows. Alas, I didn't see myself.
My parents went here from the UK in the first few weeks. We went when we emigrated to Ottawa a year later...my brother and I were in boarding school in the UK.
He's basically saying that delegations from around the world were going to arrive to start the Expo. He also talks about the tv crew that is ready to get the images. Then it goes on saying that the crowd composed of people from around the world arrived in Montreal. Then he goes on asking what the event meant to different people. Most say that they are very proud of their city. He talks about the reporting crew that was on the helicopter (it seems like it was a huge thing in 1967). And son on.
