I hope Aclazotz actually succeeds in Torrezon. Not for any dislike to Torrezon, mind ya, but because the concept of a vengeful Bat God completing his evil plans centuries in the works and preparing to war against the gods of his old home sounds awesome. Plus, its been awhile since there was serious doubts if the good guys would win a fight or not. Aclazotz plans on Ixalan sound just small enough (compared to things like Bolas and Phyrexia) that the heroes do not HAVE to win in order for the greater story to keep going, but large enough to make him feel like a proper threat.
Camazotz is my favorite Deity and bats in turn are my favorite animal. I am SO HAPPY that they made a card Themed around Camazotz. Also the whole set looks so amazing flavor wise.
@@Thoughtmage100I think the vanity of Innastrad's vampires would be an issue for him. Olivia Voldaren won't bow to him, but would attempt to steal whatever power he has, so Voldaren's out. Stormkirk already has a dark god they follow. Markov is a broken mess and still hasn't recovered from the blow Nihiri did to them. Falkenrath? Already powerful enough that a foreign "god" may be annoying to them unless they could harvest some of his power. The weak willed and those without strong ties to one of the Houses though... I'm curious how the unique magic atmosphere of Innastad would affect Aclazotz.
A Bat God Spread Vampirism and made the first vampire of Ixalan is a neat concept, I wish fantasy novels have thought who knows they probably will get inspired, and make their own version for their novel.
I really hope the omen paths connect this with innistrad in some way. Or maybe even a new vampire plane. I’d just like to see a new type of heavy vampire set!
Now we’ll have to see if he is defeated by playing basketball against a guy with a gourd for a head. Yes that actually happened to Aclazotz’ inspiration, Camazotz.
My 5th time watching while waiting for more stories. If the Netflix and WotC deal is still a thing, if there is a narrator I hope your WotC partnership evolves! Thank you 🙏
I really enjoyed the story, especially the climatic final battle. I'm so glad that both the Mycotyrant and Aclazotz survived to fight another day. With Nicol Bolas on time out and the Phyrexians defeated (until the new Father of the Machines, Jace, is activated, lol), Magic needs to replenish its rouges gallery. Fingers crossed that they both find Omenpaths to spread more wickedness...and good stories!
I will wish a most impure demise on that Brass if she dares get in the way of such a promising story. Sink to fate of all you old crow. Aclazotz has to reach the Legion so I can see Elinda again and finally see the legion's queen. Besides, an ancient God's resurgence promises to be a story for the ages that I refuse to miss Finally Wizard writers know how to write a good ending again. A good cliffhanger. I have to see this story play out

Let’s all pray to our new bat savior.
@@AetherHubNo, I don't think I will. I shall instead keep worshipping the three headed Dinosaur and expect it to rip the bat God a new ass
@@delllee4915 I see preferring a lizard with three heads oppose to the tiny one you have

Dark vampire god is a cool concept especially with the omenpaths open
Will he fly through one? 🤔
I hope that concept is on the table @@AetherHub
@@AetherHubHe would do very well for himself on a plane like Ulgrotha or Innistrad.

@@EclipseWarlord That's very true, but his close approximation to demons might give him a role to fill in Westvale, and an alliance with Ormendahl.

Love the way the spookie Halloween season lore and Ixalan's deep history and secrets seem to melt into each other. Chef kiss.
Cheers!
Thank you sir. It’s great that there were a few spooky gems in this set that I could include!

Great short story.
Thank you 🙏
I like that Aclazotz is the only one who doesn't have Ojer in their name
Almost like he's a unique case out of the bunch
Yeah pretty sure he skips the fancy title once people dubbed him the betrayer
Such sweet music they make. Nice refrence
The visuals are up to 21!! Nice work!
Thank you :)

I'm beginning to feel like a Bat God, Bat God... 🦇
Perfect timing. Takin a break before the drive home😊
Enjoy and drive safe!!!

Oooooh, interesting. Pretty sure that is inspired by Camazotz the bat god.
100% is. Good catch
I really like this one a lot ❤

I wonder who the giant 'colonisers' were
I think they may be instrumental in this current story arch. They must be!
They are from the plane of Ir
Can we get Aclazotz to inastrod?
Would be fitting!!
Or Amonkhet, since it only has one god right now and a lot of dead things.
What I'm hearing is that Azor always makes shit worse.
So... what's the story of this set? Did I miss something?
Batman? I think you mean Manbat.
Ah right total miss by me 😜
Nanananananana BatGod! Nanananananana BatGod!
Following this guy may drive you batty.
Hiyooooo
They so ripped Batman off. 😂 jk lol
I wonder if there’s a Robin God 🤔
