God this stills hurts as strong as ever. This was the first video of hers I saw, it was always my favorite and calmed me so much. I don't know if I'll ever fully accept that she's gone. I still wish I had a chance to repay her somehow for how much she helped me, and how she was able to comfort me through my struggles. I always imagined myself sometime in the future, happy, matured, and all figured out meeting Rali at a con, and just being able tell how how much I loved her content, and how much it helped me. I still can't believe I'll never get that chance. I keep finding myself thinking of what I could have done to help her, to change the past, despite me never talking to her. I didn't know it was possible to be so attached to someone you never interacted with, it still stings to lose someone I had so much in common with, and helped me through so much. Her words telling me I was enough, I do so much, and that I was valid no matter what served to help me so much, being a pushing force to help me out of the depression that drowned me for so long, and helped me to stay alive through all I went through. It hurts so much to see her gone from the same thing she helped me through, and to know all the pain she went through. The sadness overpowering all the kindness and support she was given. It's a terrible feeling, people's joy thrown to an empty pit, feeling like an empty, irredeemable person. It's horrible she had to go through it, with all the troubles of her life piled on. I hope she's in some better place, no matter what it is. It gets to a point where there's so much sadness that you don't care if there's an afterlife, just that there's an escape from the pain. I truly hope theirs something after death, a place where I still have chance to meet her, maybe then I can still tell her how she helped, how much she meant, and how much she's missed. If there's ever a way words could express it. It's so crazy that random 30 minutes videos of someone wearing a tanuki costume would have such a lingering grip on my mind, or they would help me so much. But it makes sense considering I might not still be here without them, maybe it's just the lingering rope that held me above that pit of despair waiting to take me. But I still can't move on, a longing pain hitting me whenever I scroll now. I still miss you Riley, hope I can see you again.
I found this a couple nights ago and have used it every night to fall asleep. Its so comfy and I LOVE the immersion that a lot of asmrtists fail to have.
I wish I did this sooner, but thank you, for everything, calm nights, being one of the 5 people that helped me when I held a knife against myself and was about to end it, I'll miss you, hope you're in a better place now.
