As Apostolic Pentecostals, We dress up for Church not because we are obsessed with our outward appearance, but because we bring our best to God in Body, mind, and spirit. To wear casual street clothes to a Church service is to bring a Cain sacrifice to God, to come dressed up for church is to bring an Abel Sacrifice to God. I can attest that when I didn’t dress up for church there was still carnality in my life that I wouldn’t let go of, God led me out of wearing street clothes to church, it is an unacceptable sacrifice
