Trevor's home DS episodes during COVID were so funny. He always brought a sense of humanity to every story or joke. I miss him so much.

As a Cameroonian student in SA during COVID, I was so glad Trevor found a way to accurately represent not just SA but the whole of Africa by making more jokes about Africa in a way that Americans and Westerners could relate to.

Because the society he lives in (US) wouldn't forget it, so he rolls with it. He's fine being biracial, but in the US, people see it in terms of black or white
Yes! He is Xhosa. He only explains mixed to clarify his skin colour. In South Africa he does not identify as coloured( mixed) said it himself cause he is culturally umXhosa.

Actually, I saw his comedy show in Chicago last November and he didn't mention Trump once. I was actually surprised, because I thought given his time on the Daily Show he'd feel like he had to throw in at least one joke. But it didn't fit with the stories and jokes he was telling, so there was no need for it. He was so funny, my sides were hurting, I was laughing so hard. It was a great show.

Trever Noah presided over a historic loss of viewers during his time on the Daily Show. The loss of revenue was staggering.
Late-night TV is changing. People don't do much lateral TV viewing anymore with streaming, on-demand, recording, and computer and phone viewing. The fact that TDS has 13 million YT subscribers is great. I always watched it the next morning before going to work. Trevor was a brilliant host.

Wish I could watch the Grammy's, Grammy's claim artists, musical achievement, yet they allow auto-tune and basically give awards for "Video performance" and most albums sold or most clicks.... You see TV series and movie performers and they are "raw" performances. The music industry is all fantasy and everything other than someone with an instrument or their voice just performing alone without glitz and choreography. Sad situation when a simple performer with a guitar and microphone has no chance of winning
