Hi , if I already have the moondrop chu 2 and kz zvx, a step to improve the sound quality would be the kiwi iear cadenza or TRN conch, which of these two do you recommend for varied music?
Crazy package for $30 price range. More IEM makers need to pay attention to this kind of offering. Thanks for the review. PS: I think you can trim your youtube video and cut out that last part. Unless you wanted us to see the out-take.
True, great value for the money. Personality I found the bass punchy, tight, fast and clean. Personally, I found the top mid highs to be a little overbearing at times sometimes muddled on fast busy tracks....perhaps a little too clean and lacking warmth, but that's to my ears. Nevertheless, Great value IEMs for the price😊👍
I don’t own either set unfortunately. And probably won’t get them right away. Too many IEMs to review and even listen to regularly at the moment. More content is in the way, although some of the sets are a bit dated at this point. Hopefully it will still be helpful.
Thanks for this elaboration, it helps. i don't have Conch yet(i plan to), however i do have 7Hz Zero 2 and EW200.. i understand the hype of EW200 now. About Zero 2, i am not sure to recommend it or not. Personally, i think KZ ZVX and even the old EDX Pro perform as good (generally, not absolutely).
The Conch has more treble energy and more dynamic bass response, but the NUO is smooth like butter. Kind of a personal preference. I like the Conch a bit more. And it does have the better cable and 3 tuning nozzles too.
Can’t comment on the FH3 unfortunately. I actually only have Dac/amps from Fiio. The K11, Q3 and BTR7. And they’re all solid. I don’t know why I don’t have any of their IEMs. Might have to look into a couple of sets…
On paper the FH3 is superior. That’s for sure. A beryllium plated 10mm DD and 2 Knowles BAs. 1 for mids, 1 for highs. Any time you put a configuration together like that, with the quality drivers they are utilizing, I’m thinking it’s going to be pretty damn good
I don’t have the Olina so. Cannot tell you for sure on that. The Conch is not particularly musical, nor sterile. It’s a pretty solid all rounder however. The techs are above avg without being special. The tonality is fairly neutral. I just think that they’re good and have great accessories. For around $30, tough to beat.
@@BassDad8 So there is no difference in quality of hardware between these two, aside from accessories and tuning? Because zero red costs more than 1.5x than the conch which is crazy. How does that make sense?
@@yinitialize4930 I didn’t say that there was “no difference” in quality. I merely pointed out the differences in tuning style. But if you want my opinion on the quality of drivers, then it’s the Zero Red. Now please understand that it is not by much. The Red has two DDs to the Conch’s one. And I guess that gives the Red an edge in sound quality if you want to drill down. But $35 vs $55? You’re just not going to notice a major difference between the two in SQ. Which brings us back to tuning preferences…
@@yinitialize4930 if you want to get something with better drivers tha both of those and a really nice smooth tonality, then get the QOA Gimlet. There’s literally one left on sale for 50% off on Amazon North America, or if you cannot do that, AliEx has a seller offering an early bird special at $42. Absolutely! Sound is great. Accessories are excellent. Nozzles are swappable for different tunings. It’s a really nice set for the price. Please let me know how you like it!
@@BassDad8 i've had a bad ear infection for a couple weeks, so i haven't been able to really use it a lot, but i'm really impressed by the build quality and acessories, but i find it frankly too shouty for my taste. (i'm using the red filters) Another thing i've realized is how i feel weird now hearing IEMs due to being forced to use a over ear headphone (Anker q30, and sony xm3's, both tuned to autoeq on the wavelet app on my phone, and the peaceAPO on my pc), there's a lot, and i mean lot of space on a headphone vs a IEM, although not as much detail, and the bass is miles ahead. i don't know since its been only a couple of days i can wear a iem without my ear canal starting to hurt (it's still tender i guess), so i gotta put in some hours. I hope they fix the shouty behavior on a conch 2, if they improve on this, i believe this will trump any other IEMs in the 20-30$ range for a good time.
😢After listening all day, I discovered that I prefer the SalNotes Zero. I've tried the black, red, and blue, and none of them appeal to me. I don't like this colorful, energetic sound signature.

I think the Cadenza is the more versatile set of the two. Don’t get me wrong. I love the conch and its accessories, but from strictly the performance angle, it’s the Kiwi Ears. No case or pouch though. So you have to figure that into the equation. Thanks for tuning in!
The TRN Conch also fits well which was surprising as it has a half bullet style shell.
Worth 30$.
As long as you like the Ulim, that's all that matters. Keep reviewing when you can.

Yes. Well I kinda thought it was funny so I left it, but I definitely need to start editing. No doubt. Thank you for watching and for the feedback 😀
are these 15$ iems and 20$ accessories ? any other 30-40$ iems with removable nozzles for ease of clean ?

That is so right on point! Great comment. Totally agree!
how do they compare to the simgot ew200 or the crinacle zero 2 if you own them ?

Hi, TRN conch vs Truthear Zero : Red, which one would u recommend?
As long as you don’t mind a little extra treble, I’d go with the Conch. Great accessories too. But the Zero Red is smoother and a little warmer too.

In 3 weeks there's will be 4 new upgraded sets of iems
It's crazy. 7Hz Five & FATfreq x HBB Deuce are a couple that I am currently eyeing up.
When u buy for modular cable, they give free I.E.M🤣
