S2EP4: From Expulsion to Elected: Redefining Leadership with Alderperson Jessie Fuentes

This episode features the groundbreaking, inspiring, and history-making Alderperson Jesse Fuentes of the 26th ward. Jessie Fuentes is the youngest and first queer Latina to lead the 26th ward of Chicago, Humboldt Park. Jessie has transformed leadership by centralizing it on leading with the community and amplifying the voices most impacted by changes in the city. Jessie ensures to balance life through their passions for poetry and maintaining a healthy, loving family. Jessie exemplifies breaking generational curses by literally going from being expelled as a teen to leading in office today. Jessie inspires us all to lead and continue living with purpose.
