Very interesting video! What if your arm isn't long enough to get the slide extended all the way?
That's essentially what the extra tubing (called the F valve) was made for. In many cases, it negates the need for 6th and 7th positions. But if one doesn't have the F valve, one learns make it work. Mainly by extending the fingers out.
