When it comes to tail shape I prefere short-tail Guppies. They can swim better and have less health issues with their tails. Futhermore I think Guppies with very large fins look kind of over the top. Especially Guppies with only one swordtail look unbalanced and unnatural to me. So I prefere the less extraordinary tailshaps. But when it comes to color I like the very colorful ones. I think there are many beautiful colored Guppies. I only do not like the transparent variant and albino Guppies. Overall I think the more colorful the better.
I am a breeder and I’d like to share what kinds I’ve had in my tanks before and sold as well (I tend to keep rare ones but I love all guppies). -Panda guppy (pair) -Koi tuxedo short body guppy (my favourite pair) -Moscow guppies (I’ve had blue, black, green, purple, and white all in pairs) -Dragon guppies (I’ve had a pair of red and also a pair of blue) -Dumbo ear guppy (I have a pair of dumbo red tail but there’s many types in the world) -24k gold guppy (I’m getting a pair soon) These types are all highly expensive and not common. More info can be found online about them (too much to type). I paid $30 per every fish to get them. My pairs are all pure bred and just below show quality. I also live in an area where it’s not the easiest to ship fish so that was a pain to get them in general 😅 I love my koi guppies. They’re my absolute favourite 🙂 I have the koi tuxedo short body, but there is other types in the world.
@@GuppyChannel yup I get mine from breeders in Asia :) they are purebred and almost show quality, but not quite there. Still very nice fish though and I love them to death
Hey my water quality is good ,well heated and clean but also my female guppies are always sitting in the bottom of the tank... but males are well active why?
maybe your female guppies are sick, watch our guppies disease videos to find out the cause th-cam.com/video/7qZYAojST74/w-d-xo.html - Part 1 th-cam.com/video/PIL6185Jvk4/w-d-xo.html - Part 2
Hey, if the females are hiding or laying on the bottom there could be many problems. One is disease/parasite/etc. Two is going into labour and/or labour complications. Three could be stress. Four could be aggression between tank mates. Five could be that they aren’t adjusted to water perams. Six could be the water is too hot/cold. Etc etc etc. If any of these sound possible, try and do some research online (get multiple bits of info from trusted places). Good luck!!!!
I think you missed out the 2.5l turbodiesel guppy.

except when they are so big the fish can barely even swim.
