Has anyone wondered how Petey knew to be at the junkyard at that very moment when Johnny and Jimmy would show up?
I think all this time Petey wanted to take over the school so he carefully manipulated Gary while pretending to be a meek guy and allows himself to get bullied so that nobody would suspect him of his grand plan to let Jimmy help him succeed the Head Boy position.
In this instance, it's likely he observed Gary spying on everybody like it was implied later in the game when he said he was rallying cliques against each other and when he said that he had eyes everywhere. Or it could be pure f*cking luck that he knew where to find Johnny and Jimmy

It's a blink and you miss it sort of thing. Also, most who played this were kids once. They don't care about that sort of thing. Too fixated on completing the task at hand

The actual character in game called Troy: 💀
Troy’s part of Russell’s clique, and one of his sound bites is “Stop…thinking…about…GUYS!” implying that he is in the closet. When he is defeated in a fight he says “Tell Russell I love him…AS A FRIEND!”
Chapter 3 is my favorite of the entire game. Not only because I really enjoy the christmas themed open world we get in it, but also because of the rivalry that Jimmy and Johnny developed.
Russel had something similar going on, but he wasn't smart enough to be a rival like Johnny, with bigger ambitions and interests than just bullying people. Derby was barely present in his chapter, except for some dialog and the final mission (honestly, Bif kinda was a more concerning presence than Derby ever was anyway). Tad is a bit present, but he's quite a disappointing antagonist on his own. Edgar is also barely present, and perhaps he's the most absent of the clique leaders in terms of development. Johnny, on the other hand, is there.
Jimmy works for him, ends up betraying him, they have a few confrontations against each other until their final confrontation in this mission. You feel that Johnny is present and that he is the antagonist. He is the threat, and you're dealing with him, not some hyped-up goon.

I finished this mission when I needed one punch to fail.
If y'all are having a problem with this mission that makes your game softlock is from having the daboss menu it over writes this script and makes the game softlock so just go on and delete the script files from the steam and then verify the files and it should be good cause I just did that and it made me play the mission just letting y'all know this.

the mission was probably rushed, so they put whoever they wanted to in gameplay and cutscenes or they made a mistake and forgot to check who else with peanut jimmy was fighting

Unpopular opinion: during the fight with Johnny should have played the tenements (high) soundtrack
I agree, but fighting Johnny isn't comparable to how fights are structured during that mission (in the fun factor aspect).
