I like how Sir Eric introduced this car, lets be frank Suzuki streched alot of definitions to their breaking point with this. This thing is a MPV and theres nothing wrong with that, its a good looking MPV,but its still a MPV,albeit a raised one(nothing wrong with that either, makes it more versatile)the bottle holders can take a 2l soda bottle for crying out loud, this thing is versatile and family focused, which is what a MPV is,just own it Suzuki, stop putting this with cars that arent one thing or another(looking at you BMW X4). The mild hybrid system is the mildest of mild hybrids and it doesnt do much for the fuel economy and it shuts the ac off when stopped, thats a no go for me,but hey ,at least it gets cruise control now.
Anyone who has this car, what is the fuel consumption penalty when you're idlin for at least a half hour or youre in really bad traffic(like a hour and a half to go 6km)?
Thanks but you cant review a 7-seater without showing if the 3rd row is functional (and you even sat it and did not test out legroom!). Did i miss the fuel consuption estimate?
Yup, makes a big fuss over it being a "hybrid" but couldn't be bothered to give fuel consumption figures which, by the way, was what I came for. So frustrating.
@@jabpaler Sound good! I am looking for the comfortable Japanese 7-seater in this category and price point. Still deciding between this and BRV S or V variant.
ilan ang minimum speed bago gumana yung electric assistance ng hybrid system? as far as i know di yun gumagana during slow speed travel. baka di maganda for city drive na babad sa traffic. edit: if mali pagkakaintindi ko sa hybrid system, pakitama na lang po. salamat.
I believe the proper information is that it is a Mild Hybrid and NOT full Hybrid. It is not on the list of exempt from coding.

No mention of mileage.

Does it have speed sensing door locks?
nope.
Just got mine 5 days ago and this is my only gripe about the XL7 but the overall experience is great.
@@jericgarcia111How’s the ride comfort? Can you please rate from 1 to 5 (greatest)?
@@billgon 4. space is luxurious, ride is great to be honest. in my opinion, this is for people who prioritize comfort over speed.

This guy sounds more of a commercial host rather than a reviewer.
Suzuki should really stop touting their mild hybrids as full hybrids.
Mild hybrid in short not a true hybrid. Hence not coding exempt.
yup for us here in southern ph it's bang for buck
It's coding exempt actually.
@@faitholiveros2698 it's not actually
@aivv6062 Ironically, it's exempted in the eyes of LTO, yet in the eyes of DOE, it shouldn't, lol.
Seat properly so we could see if were gonna fit at the third row! Hahay! Wasted opportunity!🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
It is not an MPV though, it is categorized by Suzuki as an SUV. This review is a fail.
It has unibody. So its more correct to call it crossover than suv
