Hey i just started a yellow beorning thanks to this video and was just wondering what virtues you would suggest running for this difficulty.

That is a very good question.
      The short answer is:
      Zeal (Crit, might, physical),
      Wit (Crit, Finesse, Physical),
      Valour (Crit, Finesse, Physical),
      Confidence (Crit, Finesse, Evade),
& Discipline (Incoming healing, Phy Mit, Tac Mit)
Essentially the Yellowline Beorning uses Heavy armour, has good self heals & does good damage. The higher the crit chance the better the heals & damage output. The higher the finesse the more actual damage you do as the critters armour is decreased by finesse. Discipline is the least important of these but the incoming healing boosts heals a bit & the mits just help the heavy armour some more.
The idea of increasing defensive skills doesn't really help as much as you would think. The incoming damage is increased by 600% on H+2 and without the heals (and crit chance) even the beorning can get into big trouble. Damage output is really important as well given the beornings normal damage output is decreased by about 85% on H+2 difficulty & Finesse helps increase the damage output quite well around that low figure.
      Hope that helps.

Excellent! The one thing I'd argue about is something I brought up with Captcha during his 1-50 D9 series: The choice to take the Thrash bonus damage instead of the extra chance to crit in the first line of Red tree. I generally prefer getting extra damage to extra crit but in this case extra Thrash damage is only extra Thrash damage but extra chance to crit means more damage for everything. I'd have to log in to check which I can't do right now, but the extra chance to crit might even apply to healing.
You might want to re-record your low-level D9 Beorning hybrid setup video. Without sound or on-screen text to take its place it's not very watchable or useful for a viewer.
edit: Whoops! I see you did that already.

I looked at the crit chance but only briefly. In reality the thrash damage is moderate compared to all the others. If the Dot damage from serrated blade and the bees does crit then it would be better with crit chance. I’ve been thinking ESO in my mindset where dots and hots didn’t crit. It’s the extra thrash tracery damage that eventually slots in that boosts it enough to need to think about crit dots and hots. So yes I think you are right. It depends on the thrash damage tracery you end up choosing. The lower ones will probably not be as good as the possible self healing crits and dot crits.
Re: no sound. Nvidea changed its video card settings in the last day or so. The choice of mike is now software bound inside nvidea and not pc system setting driven.
When I realised it I uploaded the backup recording but the “no sound” version had been out for about 5-6 hours. The one you watched was moved to “unlisted” so people watching or saving it would still see it but there is a proper version with actual commentary publicly available.
The one with no sound is marked “no sound”.
It’s a nice change from nvidea but it caught me well and truely off-guard.
      Thanks again.

I should have explained thrash choice a bit better though. The more damage thrash does the more you can spam thrash, thrash, encouraging roar. And let the man form & bee dots and hearthen hots run to conclusion. That’s why I have the 3 extra dot tracery slotted with three dots at level 90 hybrid beorning. So, more one off damage means more spams. Crit on the others are less important etc. also less need for ferocious roar to generate wrath…

Just looking at the videos damage and healing log I can see dots doing devastating hits and hots with critical heals. So you are absolutely right about critical choice rather than thrash for red class trait points.
Very nice. Will make changes to my beorning moving forward.
