Awesome sight looking down onto this beautiful DC-6 from the hill so close, so majestic it looked amazing almost knife edging coming through cad section, what a blast for us on the hill and you guys, thanks for uploading this video great to see what was going on inside 😃 credit to the pilots they owned the loop today, outstanding!
As an Airline Pilot of 20 years I can tell you that aircraft’s wheel well is absolutely spotless, you would never see this on anything but a brand new airliner! Stunning.
Nice once in a lifetime opportunity! Imagine if the Air Force was flying their Mach Loop Laps that day and getting buzzed by a couple fighter jets left and right 😅

Amazing experience, you guys r so lucky getting a “ride” is a DC-6! 😊 low ceiling for some of your Guys lol. Love the sound of a dc reminds me of an air show with my granddad many years ago. He gave me my love of anything that flies, my uncle is part of the Yorkshire helicopter preservation group and he gave me my love of helicopters 😊 even allowed in the cockpit, man I’m envious 😊😊😊😊
What a treat! A day to remember for all of you. Many years ago I got a flight in a chipmunk once on a weekend when the Tain Bombing range wasn’t active, and that was amazing, I doubt we were upright even half the flight! It was an experience! The old planes the sound the smell and to get up close. My granddad was GCHQ in his service days as his eyes wouldn’t let him into the RAF, just because he wore glasses, they put him forward to GCHQ just wish he could of told us more about his service days especially when he was younger, but alas he wasn’t allowed! His love of flight and military was infectious! If ever near Doncaster check out the South Yorkshire Air Museum, it’s a little museum but, helps preserve a lot of Aircraft that would otherwise vanish! The Yorkshire Helicopter Preservation Group is based there too. Sadly no flights in the aircraft though lol! 😊😊
Flew over my caravan in that, it’s flew over a few times landing just a 5 min walk at Shell Island Airfield. Hope you waved at me as you all flew over while I videoed it.
