    Great fishing . I was up there two years ago go later in the year. I need to get a float tube😎. Hey since you release so many fish have you thought about slightly pinching down the barb? It will be easier to unhook yes you may lose a few .

    Just subscribed! Hey man I love your videos. I learn so much. Just getting into mini jigging for like 3 years. I fish salt water in the summer. I'm a big surface iron guy. In the winter I fish the stocked trout in San Diego. I bait and wait but I di like mini jigging, kinda reminds me of chucking iron but with way more finesse! LOL. Hey can I get away with using a 750 size reel? Is that too slow of a retrieve?
    Thanks

    Can I ask what your process is? How long do you let it drop before setting the bail? I understand you have to find the d3pth of where they are, but what is your average wait? Thank you

    • @GoldenStateFishing
      @GoldenStateFishing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This was actually my very first time having the depth finder and it really didn’t give me too much extra advantage. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and it’s more of a feeling thing and knowing where they would be bc of mainly temperatures . I always follow drop offs and inlets especially when it’s hot . But I do like I can know the water temperatures and where the drops are in the middle of the lake . But as for how long I wait after casting I do counts usually only start with a one or two count then go more tell I find them and as the day goes on it constantly changes with air temperature and water temperatures changing . Honestly you never know everything changes by the hour including bait colors and so on experience is the only thing that usually can help you . You just got to get out there and try it all tell you figure out the combinations then a hour later do it all again. Good luck 🎣 get out there and just try it all is all you can do .

    Do you add scent to your artificial baits? Why or why not? Thanks.

    • @GoldenStateFishing
      @GoldenStateFishing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I never use scent . Trout are hunters and rely on vision first . They see movement they react or don’t . Scent works great for bait fishing where a trout that swims near can smell it but they have no time to smell with artificials it’s all about visual. As you can see I do great without scent it’s not needed at all .
