exactly how i wanted it to end, with a dragonator to the face. I tried that as a last ditch effort to break the horn with 10 seconds left, but it failed.
I always make it to third phase and then die with the ridiculous continuous blue flame bursts... it's just so dumb. I took a SA and focused on the head, it's almost like it never breaks! What about the flinch shots? sometimes it gives me an animation of him running towards something and slam, sometimes doesn't even move!
He has 2 states; head high and head lowered. Flinch shot while his head is high will force him to lower his head. Flinch shot while his head is lowered will allow the flinch shot to work. Part breaker 3 is a must. Bind-shot + Roaming Ballista + Heavy artillery skill + Tenderized head = lots of head damage. Clutch claw attacks while he does flamethrower moves but not fireballs. Once you get the first break then he will no longer use blue flames. Each break requires 10,000 head damage in solo. Try sleep bombing at the start of the fight. That will net you around ~5000 head damage.
@@MrJxt8 holy shit, good info man! I mostly did SA damage without utilizing the artilleries around the field. Will definately do a better run, thank you!
@@MrJxt8 I would sleep bomb him infront of the dragonator for double damage, instead of sleep bombing. Also you can poison him with those poison bombs and it does quite a bit of damage.
Divine blessing is much better than other defensive skills. Ofc your defense should be atleast above 1000 and your fire resistance atleast 20 (with this you also wont take fireblight)
Amazing ideas, used some of them and worked wonders ! Gratz

Fantastic run. I'll pick up on some of your strategies, I've only defeated him twice.
The only issues i have is breaking the head. Or else its more on edge of blue fire. Other than that i timed out

@@MrJxt8 but using sleep+dragonator is more useful when you want to beat him in general. While sleep bombing the head is better for early horn break
I wish his fire didn't one shot me with 1200 defense and 48 fire res :/
those are rookie numbers you gotta pump those up, jokes aside divine blessing is a must imo.

Fire Res is not reducing the dmg you got from fire attacks! ... It reducing the chance to get a negative status effect! (fire)
I Usually put him to sleep in front of the Dragonator, 2X Damage on one side.
