As one of the 5 people who didn’t like the original concealer (or shape tape for that matter), I have been LIVING for the hydrating version. I stumbled across it at Target a few weeks ago & haven’t stopped using it. The original is just too dry and cakey for me. I am also loving the coconut setting spray!
The luminous putty is my absolute favorite of the 3. I want to try the new C bright putty primer. I highly recommend elf's putty primer application brush. It has a tool on the end so you can get it out of the container without putting your fingers in it. The brush is also a holy grail product!

I love that you got the new elf hydrating concealer and tried it out. I picked it up yesterday at my local target, and could not wait to try it out today. The very first thing I noticed also was the shade wasn't exactly the same. Although after applied and set with my city airspun powder, it didn't look much different from the 16hr camo concealer by elf. So I think I may try a side by side comparison on my own fave, to see the actual differences, if any. Lol. I do really like it tho. Doesn't seem much different, other than it's a slightly thinner consistency, but full coverage none the less. You're so beautiful and it doesn't matter if you're using a $3 4 shadow palette from elf or a $48 Tati palette, your eye look is always gorgeous. I truly enjoy watching the steps you take to applying each shape also. Blending is definitely key to an awesome seem less eye look. Want to see more of these new drugstore products videos!!! Elf just came out with a putty eye primer as well and it’s a possible dupe for the MAC paint pot.. you should try it! Also fellow dry skin girl here, and I like the original camo concealer better. I feel like it’s better coverage and they feel the same. I noticed the hydrating shade was darker too when I got it. Maybe if you have extremely dry skin the hydrating one would be good. I also tried the halo glow setting powder and it made my T zone super shiny/oily looking after like 2 hours :( love the matte and original poreless putty primers.. a staple in my routine! ❤️❤️
Yes kelly you're 1000% right, the elf camo concealer used to be $5.00 and then all of a sudden they went up to $6.00 which is kind of crazy in my opinion lol but they are really good I have like 8 of them and I'm almost done with my 8th elf camo concealer and I want to try their new hydrating concealer it looks really good. I just recently got the Camo Concealer from hearing all the great things I hear about it and I am so glad I did. I really love it. I have heard about these Bite palettes from them and for $3 WOW I want them. They look perfect for beginners and for travel. Well I mean anybody can use them but I think they will be easy for beginners to start out with and make looks with them without getting overwhelmed with too many shades. I saw Jen from Beauddiction swatch them all and they all looked great!
Elf products I love the Camo Concealer for my combination oily skin, Oil Free Foundation, Prime Pressed Powder in fair, and their Makeup Setting Spray and Makeup Wipes $3 bucks you cannot beat that. I get them at a Super Target they have more Elf products selection than the Walmart near me.
I love that you don't talk down affordable... it seems those who can afford high-end, only boost high-end... but trash affordable.. but some of us that LOVE make-up can't afford to splurge on everyday makeup... tfs💞
I've been loving the hydrating concealer, but they didnt have much shade selection at my target. Literally 4 or 5, so I chose the lightest (also in Light Beige) and it's a bit too dark and a bit too orange. I can make it work, bc I love it, but I'd love even more to have the right shade. I also grabbed their hemp/cannabis facial oil. I cant remember the name lol, but it had both of those words on the box and I love facial oils. It's really really nice, but even with dry skin I suggest using at night only bc it can be greasy feeling and slippery. I have a ton of oils, so I realize they can be that way but this one more so than most. A little goes a long way and I only use at night.

The matte concealer dries down darker that’s why it looks lighter than the hydrating one.

Try going to ulta or purchase it online they tend to have all of the shades on there.
