As always is lovely to listen to you. Material is “the one that got away” for me, I missed a bargain for it thinking that it was so similar to my other ambars but never stopped thinking about it. I feel this video is a signal of the universe to go and buy it 😂
Wonderful variety, Cherie! I wore Vanilla Powder many, many times. I finished a bottle of Lust in Paradise. I don’t feel I need to repurchase the latter, at least for a while, but will get a larger size of Vanilla Powder. I also wore Blanche Bette a lot and still don’t know if I love it or hate it. 😂
I love my Rose Barbare - that unique fenugreek note against that sweet fluffy rose. 😍. I envy your Serpentine - I miss that beauty. I ran through my bottle in 2015-2016. I rarely finish a bottle but that was worn intensively along with my beloved L’Eau Froide neither of which I can find anymore here in NZ 😫… I’m currently wearing Material on a crisp day 😁… Vanilla Diorama is one of my favs and my most worn - SDV for me was pleasant but full and super quiet. I’d take Angelique Noir any day over that 😁
Another very good month. We do rarely seem to agree with Amouage 😜 which is good. I found Material so boring 🙊 but I will say of that kind of fragrance it is obviously one of the best. I can barely remember April I would imagine snow and cold weather. Not too different to now 🤣 so probably a lot of big warm ones
Actually that’s not a bad point re: Material, although whenever I wear it I just want cozy so linearity doesn’t really matter too much to me at that point. Haha Jon there’s no way I would remember either if I didn’t write it down!
Thank you for another great video, Cherie! Toward the end, when you were talking about the fragrances you have only worn once, did I hear you correctly when you mentioned an iris fragrance from Houbigant? Is it Iris des Champs? I ask because I've been on the fence about purchasing this fragrance. I have some samples and I really love them, but I feel the scent doesn't last long on my skin. For this reason, I've been holding off buying a full bottle since it's more expensive than the perfumes I usually purchase. However, there is something about the scent that is captivating to me. It's different from other iris scents that I have smelled, and I like that.
So many beautiful perfumes! And many I do not know. I remember having a decant of Levant and in the begining I thought ok nice but so much money for a citrus fragrance... then I remember terribly missing the smell of it when I opened the bag where I used to carry the decant, it is very uplifting and elegant and long lasting!. I like Silky Woods a lot for Winter, I do not know the one you have. Material is a fenomenal sleep inducing smell, cozy like few I have ever known, beautiful with those resins
Hi Cherie! I wish I can be organized like you. Sometimes I don’t really remember how I feel after wearing a perfume especially with samples. I should start doing the same thing 😊
Little book by the bed is so helpful, I write my thoughts down last thing and then I’m also not on my phone right before bed. It’s really worked for me, even though I have created an extra step of having to then transpose it to a spreadsheet.
Tbh I rarely buy from eBay! But on the rare occasion that I do, most of the people I have purchased from have been known to me through the local fragrance groups. The Dior minis I bought were from a larger discovery set which the seller was happy to send me photos of.
I love your monthly perfume roundups! ❤

you should be able to find a bargain now! Thats the benefit of waiting ;) x

I remember talking to you about Lust in Paradise, I sampled it again when I was in France, its really pretty. Vanilla Powder is a powerhouse!
I am so sorry to hear about the recording mishap! Thank you for recording lovely Cherie.

Maybe its the fenugreek that challenges me a bit with RB. the Mecca NZ website has Serpentine! x
@@TheTopNote you beauty! I just nabbed one. I was told it was discontinued - you’ve made my day. Thank you Cherie ❤️
@@susannahwatt5853 yay!

@@TheTopNote yea I get that, it certainly does fit that feel doesn't it 😊
Oh, Cherie! I love listening about those treasures. I’m so grateful. Thank you. These days, I smell like a million bucks for sure :)
Rose Barbare, it's so underrated and so beautiful! One of my favorites from that line. 🤍
Some fantastic choices for April! I might be headed for a Silky Woods Elixir purchase, I enjoy that much more than the OG. Thanks, Cherie!

Cherie noooooo! Three hours in slow motion!!! 😂😂😂
Love the takes Cherie. Serpentine going on the list. A double header today! That's March and April taken care of. 😉☺
Yes I am slowly catching up! I’ll try and get May & June filmed this week. 🤪
Just a heads up: I was thinking I was watching an old video the title reads 2021 but then I saw posted 1 day ago
Thanks, I must have had a brain snap!
Ranking 1 to 10 - the rest behind. No too much time.

I have never purchased fragrance or anything on Ebay. Have your experiences doing so been successful?

I do it ALL THE TIME. No issues
