- I have struggled with sin my whole life, and spiritual warfare is a reality which must be talked about openly. There were many things that tortured me on a daily basis in my younger years. Seek the Bible, find a church that preaches directly from the Bible , get baptized and keep trying! God loves you so much that he sends angels to guard us and sent his son to earth to be die for us( he loves you that much). Turn away from sin and follow Jesus brother!

This addiction is demonic, just like Allen says in the video. I continue to go to confession regularly and pray against these temptations. Tonight, after watching this video, I installed a porn blocker on my computer which is a step I've never taken before. I truly want to be done with this and serve God for the rest of my life, free from the bondage and chains of sin and addiction to sexual immortality and lust.

I've also struggled with porn for 10 years, but I've recently read the book "EasyPeasyMethod" which can be found for free online, I got to chapter 6, havent read it in a week, but it's such a subliminally powerful book, I havent even LOOKED at porn, let alone diddled myself. 100% recommend.
I highly recommend delving into the ancient Orthodox Christian Church. In the words of St. Athanasius - "Orthodoxy is what Christ taught, the Apostles preached, and the Fathers kept."

I agree I love the message , I think there are as much nice things in paganism and Buddhism too! without Christianity modern western people would not exist but Christianity took a lot from the before mentioned religions/faiths so we must accept this. They all have their own teachings (ofc paganism can be a lot of things its an umbrella term) but what I gather from all of these beliefs combined is a love for nature and people. A new found love for exploration and I became someone who is not afraid to talk about feelings anymore. Sports is for the body , science is for the mind the religion is for the souls. Noah, my best advice would be to start with the New Testament and read just one chapter a day. It might be a little confusing at first, but you will figure out the patterns quickly. I pray that you are kept consistent in your studies and come to learn about, and love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks brother, I have been struggling with P RON addiction since the age of 16. I will turn 32 this year and feel ashamed of not being able to cleanse myself. Many attempts failed, usually failing at the 30 day mark… Much appreciate your prayers and today 05/18/23 I will make a promise to myself. 11 months after , how is it going?
I have been feeling like I’m alone and an outcast for years now. My lack of social skills stop me from being who I am in public areas. I have tried to improve myself and I have, however I have hit a roadblock and my loneliness is getting to me. I don’t got the strength to express my emotions to my family so I’m expressing them to whoever reads this. Have a blessed day

I can sympathize with your comment. The thing that no one else here seems to want to bring up is how there’s a whole underbelly of people who really have made earnest attempts to improve their life and have prayed to god asking for necessary things yet, they don’t receive it. The fact of the matter is that most young men won’t be in a position where they have millions of followers, a great social life, a high paying job, or a beautiful spouse, no matter how hard they pray. So what’s left in life for them?

I never would have overcome my vice without the sacraments, the rosary, Saint Joseph, and spiritual books. The amount of time I went to confession for the same sin every time for two years was embarrassing and frustrating, yet it gave me humility and fortitude. Consistent mass and Eucharist preserved me from overbearing temptations for a while. I have now acquired the virtue God was calling me to, and by the power of Lord Jesus Christ, He has vanquished a great beast within me. Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto!

I grew up without any sort of real guidance in my childhood. My dad killed himself when I was about 8 and I had an abusive step-dad for another decade. Luckily I started training MMA and met a good group of men who set me straight and put me on a good path. I've always believed in a higher power but was never really able to express it in a meaningful way. hey I just wanted to say that “repent of your sins” is a false gospel and nowhere to be seen in the Bible. All we have to do is put our faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ being enough for our salvation. (John 3:16-18) This means we must place all our trust in Him alone for salvation. Our salvation is paid for exclusively by the blood of Christ, not by our works. Not in ourselves, or our good works, or “repenting of our sins.” (Titus 3:5-6, Ephesians 1:7, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, Acts 16:30-32)
Upon putting our faith in Christ we will receive the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) and we will be sealed by Him until the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30) The Holy Ghost will guide you through your Christian walk and lead you to truths and you will be able to correctly interpret/understand the Bible. (John 14:26) “He shall teach you ALL things”
It may sound too easy and too good to be true, but that’s why it’s called a free GIFT. Salvation cannot be lost. Once we have it, it's there forever. (Romans 6:23, John 10:28-30, 1 John 5:13, John 10:28) Another proof to back up my claim is that there are instances of God Himself repenting in the Bible(Jeremiah 26:13, 1 Chronicles 21:15, Joel 2:13) The New Testament is written in greek and repent in greek is “metanoia” which translates to change your mind. So when someone says repent in context of salvation in the Bible, we know they are saying to change your mind about the Gospel (unbelief to belief)
The book of Acts is in the new testament, and the new testament is translated from Greek to english. Repent in Greek is “metanoia” (met-uh-noi-uh) which translates to change your mind. But even when you search up the word it says it means “change in one's way of life resulting from penitence or spiritual conversion.” This still is not true. The word “metanoia or μετανοέω is a mashup between the word μετά,which means after. νοέω, means to perceive with the mind or to understand. Combined together it is μετανοέω, which means to change one's mind, not change one's ways of life. This is a subtle but huge way to change somebody's understanding of how to be saved.

Great video. I lost my wife a few years back and just lost it. I went down a dark path with drugs and people who used me. That path eventually brought a place where the devil tried to take my soul. Jesus Christ saved me that night and I haven't looked back since. He gave me the strength to cleanse my life of all those negative people and influences. The book "the way of the superior man" - David Dieda sums this up perfectly. Once you fulfil your purpose as a man that layer peels back and a new chapter of your life begins aka a new purpose. This will take a while until you get to the core layer of your purpose which gives your life true meaning and so called "awakening of life" . Good evening brothers. I recently was saved by god after mindlessly pursuing and idolizing a woman who I made to be this amazing person in my head. I was hurt repeatedly and finally came to the realization that my idolization should be directed towards Christ and my mindless pursuit of women and pleasure was pulling me further away from god’s light. I am beyond thankful that god never gave up on me and continued to present himself in my life. He always blessed me despite me constantly going against him. I lost my virginity at 13, became addicted to porn years prior to that, began dealing drugs and drinking in middle school, and would constantly lash out and start fights. Now, I am 19 and have directed my energy towards my fitness, faith, and family and I finally feel like I have true happiness coming into my life. I bought my own bible a couple months back and read it daily and try to talk to god whenever I remember. I always struggled to believe in one god. But after all the blessings I have received throughout my life I could be ignorant to Christ no longer. I pray that all of you find happiness within yourself and find god. You are all capable of being great 🙏🏼

I've been struggling with porn addiction as well as moy self image for over a decade. I grew up in the church and have accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior when I was very young. I've never doubted God and what he's done but my life did not reflect that. Over the years I've seen things that God has done for me that have helped me to grow and although I've made progress the struggles always seemed to loom over me. Not until recently I have truly dedicated my ALL of my actions so that they are glorifying to God. Being intentional with him and earnestly spending time with the Lord in scripture and prayer as well as being present with him in my every day activities have truly helped me to become more of a man. Although I have relapsed occasionally I no longer view myself as someone who is addicted to porn and someone who is weak. I view myself as a strong man after God's own heart similarly to David. I am strong and I put forth all of my work so that it is glorifying to God and that each day I may know him more and more.
