Nope... Tron is much better, but it is so hard to get a virtual ticket to do it. My uncle once went with me and he didnt use his virtual ticket even though he had gotten a spot, so I got to go twice because I also got a ticket.
These guys are all HEAVY, so the boat is way heavier and lower into the water than normal. As someone who’s went on splash mountain numerous times before it closed? This was in fact NOT a normal splash lmfao. Ask any cast member that works at Disney too, they’ll tell you the same.
The front of the ride gets submerged, and brings much water into the ride as the front pokes back up, with those in back getting the biggest splash, also. The guy plays it like nothing happened, when the camera is turned towards him, lol. No smile, laugh, nothing! 👍😄😄😄✌️
@@mychemicalromancewillpierc5241 💯, I aintt ever be been fully submerged. Couple people might get pants decent wet, but people acting like this level of submerged is the norm , when it’s the opposite

That WAS an epic splash. I wouldn’t call it fully submerged, but definitely bigger than usual for that ride. The guys in the front had to look back to make sure everyone else was also in shock
Here’s what you do, go on splash mountain, and then stand in the 110 degree, cramped asf, stinky line trying to get on the Peter Pan ride. Boom, it ends the suffering of that rides line.😂😂😂
Hi there!! Ride vehicles are affected by weight distribution, naturally! As anything is!! This can cause for even bigger dips on certain rides! Regardless it it literally called splash :/ dunno why the cameraman is upset like he diDNt ExPeCt iT or something.
That happened to us once. It was late at night and no line at all. I remember three heavy set people getting on the first three spots. My dad isn’t a small guy either, then my sister and I who were both younger teens. I was in the very back and remember seeing the water engulf the flume exactly like this. I’ve been in the back and got drizzle before. I left the ride 100% covered in water and we called it a night
USC night at Disneyland back in late 70’s. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean with a couple in front seat. Then my husband and I. Then 4 USC football players in the back together. The back bottomed out after each downhill part. The water poured directly into my lap. I was completely drenched. Couldn’t afford replacement clothes and my shoes went squish squish all night. When we got out they had to pull boat out of service there was so much water.
It actually does not. I have been on the ride many times. You can also watch videos. As stated here, in the video we both just watched, the log was submerged in water. That doesn’t usually happen.
Wow. I worked there, still never went on Splash Mountain but I know this is the point and purpose of the ride. I've watched so many of these logs go full under water lol. Not a fluke, just the ride working.
Here's how you do this: Put the biggest people in the front and rear seat as far front and far rear respectively you can and Disney will allow. If EVERYONE is big, even better then it weighs the whole log down. The point is to make sure that there is enough level stable weight during the whole drop that when the log hits the bottom curve, the bigger people weight in the front will more likely hit the bottom of the flume pushing water up over the log into it. As the back comes down it too does the same carrying the momentum from the front and into the back. As a bigger person I LOVE sitting in the front, cause I know we will get soaked, but I'm evil, I duck down so the water splashes past me.
This exact thing happened to me and my family once before we all started bringing backpacks and throwing those into our Disney bags for waterproofing 😂
I was on Splash Mountain with a bunch of guys in the 90's. We got swamped... because there was a ton of weight in that log. If you've got a bunch of big people, you're gonna get swamped.
My fat friends saved my life one night when I was driving all of us out to the bar in my little Honda. There were 3 of them and each one weighs over 300 lbs. I weigh 159lbs. As I was going 65 mph down the road a car pulls right out in front of us. I had milliseconds to respond and I jerked the wheel to the left and then hard back to the right to get back on the road. Had those guys not been in the back and passenger seat, that car would have flipped over. It already went up on two wheels even with them inside, but all that weight stopped the flip and also made it to where I could correct and get back straight.
That’s the whole point of the ride. It’s literally called SPLASH mountain
I know this person has not been to Disney or ever seen this ride
The point is that it’s never nearly this intense. Speds
Usually Splash Mountain does live up to its name, this was more of "Deluge Mountain".
This is Splash Mountain not DRENCHED Mountain 😂
It will be called Tianas Splash in a few more years!😮
"This once in a lifetime splash,"...that literally occurs multiple times per day. ffs
No it doesn’t , the extra weight gave it more impact and submerged and splashed a lot more . Jesus listen

They made it sound like the whole craft goes under. If they're mad about being wet, why would they get on a WATER RIDE?!
they arent mad they should know splash mountain is one of the wettest rides there, ive never been there and i know that.
Usually you do get soaked but the way it filled was more like insta filling a bath tub. A mini pool in the log.
This is why people wait hours to ride it during the hot summer.
