    I’ve been using a lot of these methods for 10 years but lately been feeling like my hair is flat and the curls aren’t doing what they used to. It’s been hard trying to find a parting that doesn’t make my roots flat. It’s really great to see that you don’t really have a hard parting! The few times I haven’t parted, my hair had great volume. I’ve just watched almost all of your videos and it’s made me fall in love with my curls again. I had resigned myself to never having good second or third day hair, but I’m looking forward to trying this technique for refreshing. Thanks so much for your videos!! :)

      Thank you! I am so happy to hear this! Yes, fall in love with your curls again ♥️ This is my favorite refreshing technique to keep the curls intact. I also sleep with my hair in a buff - which are everywhere now as a face mask! $2 at the grocery store. I’ll do a video on this one too 🌺

    I use my hands and a bowl of water TOO!!! This is so much validation. Seriously thank you, so glad I'm not the only one. I feel less crazy...I bring my Chinese takeout bowl with me everywhere I spend the night LOL.

      ☺️ lol. So good to hear it works for you too!
      The trendy misting bottle doesn’t compare. Just using wet hands really has been the best! I need to try to get it on camera somehow…Thank you!

    I’m the opposite tight curls underneath and looser curls up top.
    Thanks for the technic.

      Beautiful! Do you like Half Up styles? They would be lovely on you to show off those magic curls underneath 🌟

      Hair Twins! 🥂 I’m so glad this was helpful!
      I also use this technique when my wash day products don’t give me enough hold, or if I used too little product. Then, I can just add more product or a stronger hold product to keep my curls lasting for more days.

    One of the best refreshing methods I've seen. 👍I'm curious to try it on my 3b curls, I can definitely see how the trickling water vs spray bottle can be time saving. Also, it seems more intentional than spraying everywhere, which can make my refreshing start out more stringy/frizzy and seems more disruptive.

    • @TheCurlStory
      @TheCurlStory  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! I can’t wait to hear how it works for you or if you find a modification that works best for your curls too!🤞♥️

      I'm also curious, just cause you have such great tips, how you do/would wear your hair for a workout that's not too flatting, secure/cute and away from sweat.

      Thank you for sharing! Sectioning has helped speed up the process for me. It helps to not miss spots and go back over some areas again. Sectioning clips have been such a help for everything!

    The hair all the way I’m the back, nape, is super high porosity and almost never grows as long as the rest of my hair. I get so much breakage there. So annoying. I have same 2C/3a with very high porosity hair, it’s very annoying because it gets tangled oh so fast.

      Thank you for sharing! Our healthy curls journey definitely has its struggles, but the results are worth it! Your hairstylist may have more specific hair care regimens for you when they see how your hair reacts to water and styling products too.
