Thank god there’s people like this lovely lady out there ❤
@@daejensen9685 And there are so many selfless people like her, donating their time, effort and resources to help those in this dire situation.
I'm so glad and thankful that these kind folks feed their fellow human beings!!!! Very uplifting!!!
The services they provide are invaluable.
Aunty Babe is a wonderful person and is very loved within the street family. We are very grateful for her 💜
She is part of the huge network of selfless volunteers dedicated to helping the homeless. Their existence is testament to the government apathy that perpetuates the crisis.
Good on you Jim! Thanks for shedding light on the shocking inequality in this country. ❤
Thank you, Christian, but I don’t deserve any credit. I’m just a journalist reporting. These volunteers are the heroes, with many terrific organisations staffed by selfless people doing invaluable work - work that the government should be doing. I’ve delved deeply enough into the plight of the homeless to affirm my contempt for politicians and their collective indolence in dealing with this crisis.
Great video. Thanks for sharing
great work
I honestly thought this only existed in the US. I believed other first world countries had effective social services, world class health care, and governments that put their citizens' needs as their #1 priority.
Thank you, Judy. The resources are there to address the homeless issue. What’s missing is sheer political will. As you say, it should be the #1 priority of government. Unfortunately, it is left to volunteers to provide such invaluable services as food kitchens and bedspace. They are also the ones coming up with innovative ideas to help the homeless. On the evidence thus far, when it comes to this issue politicians are simply brain dead.
This is a tiny proportion of the population of the second biggest city in Australia. Everyone else here is competent enough to look after their own housing and sustenance needs
❤I would love to help! Aunty babe your awesome 👌 and show our nz aroha
Often see them Friday night there
I wish people in this country who Vote would stop Voting for Liberal & The Liberal lite Government AKA Labor '' The work down near the Queen Victoria market is outstanding
