I'm not a fan of the mesh hip pockets or the mesh lid pocket (exposure to rain), the mesh doesn't save lots of weight so why not choose a more robust material? No idea how you are supposed to fix mesh whereas I can glue nylon patches to any holes in nylon material. Looks like a good pack anyhow!
Question. Do you measure your back length from the nape of the neck and then at an angle to the iliac crest (51 cm in my case), or straight down the spine to a spot level with the iliac crest (43 cm in my case)?
Had this pack for a few years and love it. But there’s a little toggle/hook tucked away in the pocket on the left side shoulder strap. No idea what this is for?? No reviews mention it. Please help so I can sleep again 🤓
I believe it's for walking poles, kind of like ospreys stow on the go system. You have the option on just carrying them on the pack or under your arm. Hope this helps
How to choose between the 25 &30 liter? I'd have a 55L Mammut creon crest for 4/5 days hiking. Looking for a small pack to start 2/3 days fast hiking.😊
If it had a roll top design like the 44 and the taller side pockets like the 25 that wold be a perfect pack.
Some really thought out features and nice touches to this trail bag. Looks very capable for marathon and ultras, 👊🏻
It may be a bit big for Ultras! Have a look at our Trailblazer 18 (next week's video!).
Really impressed with all the features, and am looking forward to getting out to test it. I picked this up for £81 (with discounts) from Go Outdoors.
Tested it on an overnight wild camp… love it!
I want it! The only draw back seems like the mesh on the sides is not as durable from some of the reviews I read.

@@hamishwrobb8749 maybe they make mesh patches for the repair or maybe the nylon ones could work 🤷
About time more colours were on offer as the three choice of colours is boring.
Also what about a more stealth range with no screaming logos.

It's an I-phone 12 Pro-Max!
