One thing I have realized watching a bunch of the voice compilations around the globe is that often if you get a 4 chair it does not mean you'll reach the finale
In most cases, their first audition is usually their only good performance, because its a song of their own choice which has more meaning to them than a song someone chose for them
With so many extremely talented singers it must be sometimes a more than difficult task for the judges to compose their team. I am very happy for all these competitors to make it to the finale (especially the second one).
lmao so many in the comments says they came to watch Lavrans xD, but its true. his voice is amazing i dont understand why only 1 pressed the button.. i watched it live and i was thinking Ina might like Lavrans style,lol. i was like ok noone is going to press?? but then Jarle did 😻tysm Jarle!! but now Ina and Jarle have quitted and its 2 new girls who is going to be in the next sesong! i also wanted Nola to qualify, so its good that Josef pressed the button! i think pll voted on her bc she is young :) and i though Espen might press on Arthur bc he likes country (same with my dad O-o) but 3 of the 4 finalist only got 1 person who pressed the button! i think Inger Elises voice was rlly good but i think Lavrans should have won, i could vote bc my parents dont want me to, but if i could i had voted on Lavrans! i loved him from the beggining!!
This just demonstrates the validity of the judges choices. They spend most of the song looking at each other to see who will commit. They have no idea what a good quality voice is.
Can anyone explain why the judges speak English at times on this show? I know most (if not all) Norwegians speak fluent English but why do they use it on the show at like random times? Legit curious

It does make you wonder what they're waiting for, or how bad quality the earpieces are! I would have turned within 20 seconds on most of those.
