I started learning Revit 2 month ago and I found that Revit is not fast as AutoCAD architectural and Rhino in designing and modeling a new project . Do u agree with me? u think I can do Modeling as fast as those 2 softwares? Plz Help me to find the answer of my question. I haven't see Your Tutorials yet.
Revit will never be faster than AutoCad or other software because it was programmed 20 years ago and never updated. Everything needs a workaround to function, everything is slow and nothing uses the hardware it should. My CPU and GPU never go above 10-15% while using revit, while our systems cost 3500,-. You can easily run Revit on a pentium 3 machine as it'll never use than a single core of your cpu. Learning revit only makes it slightly more time efficient, the software will never run faster. No matter what.

Yes, in Revit it is a subregion. In TM i use a water material... Sometimes I will place a water object instead.

If you are using Revit, simply use topography and shape the stream...

Yes, Revit is 100% faster once you learn it! Take the time, and learn it! It's not easy, but so worth the effort.
