Remember the trainer in Portland who was supposed to take care of Brandon Roy and Greg Oden? I read an article by a kinesiologist who went to examine them (their joint functions and way of moving) and who warned that trainer about their biomechanical imbalances (in their ankles). The trainer would not take it serious and therefore did nothing to adress it. We all saw what happend to these guys.

On the other hand I can relate to it I having a torn patella, chewed up meniscus, repositioning of my heel and extension of my achilles tendon. Doctors as far as I'm concerned with butchers and they basically experimental. Wish I was in a position as you brothers were to avoid better doctors but thank God you all made it and Hall of famers in my eyes. And these convos are why you never hear players bashing another for an injury. This video made me realize why 1 month the team comes out and says rehab going exactly how it’s posed to then the next month they say it was a setback or they got reinjured.Zion and lonzo perfect examples.

I remember I hurt my knee freshman year of high school and went to idk how many doctors and they all gave me a different diagnosis but never thought it was serious, fast forward to senior year my knee is still bothersome and then come to find out the tendon that keeps my patella in place was absolutely shredded causing my knee cap to just move all around my leg and I had to get patella surgery to fix it. If doctors are that careless with me a high schooler with no chance of playing pro, imagine what they do to guys that make them millions.

Rehab is always a hard because your body is mending. Especially after a complete katella surgery it's like learning to walk all over again and if you don't push yourself you almost guaranteed to have limited mobility. Then the psychological State of mind worried about breaking it again

Respect, it seems to me worst emotional and physically for professional athletes after listening to their life experiences. I Tore my Achilles years ago as amateur player capable of dunking, took a lot to learn to walk, learn how to drive a car braking and accelerate with opposite foot because since I was in College and got paid to be there no choice but to go to school on one leg couldn’t just take time off, needed to get paid. The mental battle is challenging it’s not just the physical side. The mental battle beats you down after seeing your calf muscle years later, I’m still low key mad at the lack of strength and shape of my calf muscle!

I played all sports baseball outfielder, basketball guard, track 4 different events, football RB… playing football I got the ball up the gut a DT fell on my foot twisted it broke my right tibia and fibula. It went from doc telling me I’d be back in 3 months to I’d never play football again. I was out the entire season but after that I was never the same again. I came back still clocked a 4.4 but I was injury prone after that my left knee started bothering me, ankle on my right leg stayed getting hurt I just gave it all up.

Hyper extended my knee in the 3rd grade during a freak accident WALKING UP THE STAIRS. Tore my ACL, meniscus, PCL and chipped the knee cap. Took a good amount of time just to be able to bend my knee at 90 degrees. Took to running track later on and was good but not as good as I was before the injury. I was injury prone after that. Grade 1 quad tear in 10th grade, pulled groin 3 times, herniated disks in lumbar, etc.
