We, the fortunate devotees of the Avatar (Sai), gradually confirm and authenticate His Godhood through our long association with Him, as well as by reading/hearing His life stories, several discourses delivered by Him, and experiencing His direct miraculous intervention in our lives, with the straight and clear vision purified by our own devotion to Him and spiritual endeavor.
We make no difference between several names of God, i.e., Rama, Krishna, Durga, Siva, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Sai, and many others. We firmly believe that God is one and there is none other than Him!
It thus becomes immaterial to us whether Sai is physically present with us or not. However, we always feel His presence beside us, beneath us, above us, and around us, and we always feel that He is caring for and protecting us, especially when we, Sai devotees, believe that He always resides in our hearts, the spiritual heart of our body, and in our mind.
We have never felt that He is not with us since He discarded His mortal coil on April 24th, 2011. On the contrary, we can feel His presence more vividly now, and His instantaneous grace is now readily available whenever we require it most, in the time of our dire need. His blessings still reach us like lightning flashes in the sky, in a trice whenever we fall in danger and always protecting us from any harm and injury.
It appears that He would prefer to have more free time to hear our urgent prayers and care for us than when He was encased in a perceptible body and bound by several worldly duties and injunctions.
Sai is God and we are His devotees. We, the devotees, i.e., the individual Atmans, naturally feel kinship with Him (the Supreme Lord) and always, as He is our original source. Furthermore, feel emotionally involved and attached to Him now, whether through His physical body or through His all-pervasive subtle presence, because we are all sparks of the same spiritual fire, and this is the unwavering Divine Truth.
