The first story had me bawling like a baby... my son, my beautiful boy is autistic and nonverbal. He is the light of my life. This story touched my heart so deeply. I worry every day what will happen to my baby when I have passed on. For now, i am just on this amazing journey with this magical little soul that i was lucky enough to have been chosen by. Thank you for sharing this, and to the author, i hope you read this and know that i could just give you the biggest hug right now. The world needs more people like you in it
My son is autistic too... and your comment stirred something in me.. but I do know this, your son is gonna be fine ... he is just on another level from the rest of us common folks, and he sees the world on a different level than we do as well. We were chosen to be their parents because we were most suited for the task and the love inside of us that was shown to them was a love they knew that was unwavering and unconditional. As a parent , worrying about them is all a part of our love manifesting itself when that love grows to a insurmountable level. I wish you and your son the absolute best and always remember you're not alone . Someone , somewhere out there cares... keep your head up and see the glory that is your awesome son.
Anyone who knows how can write words, but written words that come from the heart seemingly transforms the writer into an author! Your stories are worth sharing, and who knows you just might help another in the most unexpected ways. Happy writing all- and thanks to all the authors that submitted their stories for our listening pleasure/thrill/chill🤓
I wish I was as strong as you guys are. Every time I see a kid with special needs it makes me feel very upset and I know I shouldn't feel that way but. I always look at the parents and think how strong of people they must be. That's one of the reasons why I'm not having children because I don't believe I'm strong enough to do something like that.
I was crying too. This story was really touching and triggering at the same time. My son is also a non-verbal autistic. The two of us were working on repairs to his troll collection when this story came on, it had us glued to the end. We really loved the writer and his kindness to Tom. Afterwards, we took a break from listening because my husband is a cop and it was enough dear-to -heart topics for the night. It makes my heart happy to see your comment above. Empathy makes the world go round.
Yes my friend Tom!!! This is a wonderful true story and a really wonderful outcome for Tom! I love it. Had goosebumps! And thank you to whomever let's Tom return every Sunday!!!
The story about Tom is one of the best you've ever read. Thank you, Mort, and the author, who left irrational fears with her childhood and developed compassion and an open mind.
I love being able to hear scary stories because sometimes I get to tired to read. I'm like everyone else, I love that story about Tom. It makes me happy to know as they got older they understood his situation. Knowing how cruel people can be it's nice to know there are still good people.
The first story touched my heart deeply. My nephew is a 13y.o boy with global developmental delay and adhd. All I pray is if ever the time comes that we are gone, he had already developed his maturity to stand on his own. God bless all these people. And God bless their hearts
People..quit being so damn nice and nonconfrontational! You should not just accept someone touching you and talking to you inappropriately! If you get to the point that you have to report a coworker or boss, one of the first things they will ask is did you tell them to stop? You set the limits with your body! Do you want your child to be this uncomfortable and to accept this type of harrassment? I doubt it!
That first story just PROVES what a difference you can make if you take the time to be empathetic...i hope this is true, because it is a beautiful sentiment to the real power of 'humanity'!!!
The first story gets to my heart every time I hear it! I could listen again and again! The smallest gesture can make someone's life so much happier! Praise God she gave him something to look forward to! This way, he can always come back home!😢❤👏
I have heard this story about Tom probably three or four times. I just love it makes me feel good that there are people like that still left in the world. It will show kindness to the less fortunate. It’s so for compassion
You would not know this, but we sleep together every night~My two pugs and I turn out the lights, kindle a candle, curl up under the quilt and listen to the stories told in your wonderful soporific voice. Does that make you my midnight rambler? BTW, I have lived in old houses that came with resident oddities and know what lurks in the woods at night...
Great top stories Mortis. Thank you so much! Did enjoy all! Hope your packing is done soon for you. It's stressful and boring! Btw Mortis: You had 18 ads👍
You don’t have enough commercials you need to put more. 😂 not even going to bother listening to this to fall asleep cuz the commercials alone will jolt me out of my sleep
@@justsage4521 yeah, the thing about it is though, that it was at 8 at night and had all the lights turned off in the lounge room while watching a movie. Got up to go to the toilet and smacked into it, because I couldn't see the damned thing.
Wow what a treat last night a 3 hour video and tonight almost a 3 hour video. You are spoiling us mort thank you so much. You are working so hard this is amazing. There are some things going on in my life that have made my depression go from bad to worse but this put a smile on my face so thank you. I enjoy these stories alot even if a few of them I've already heard from you but no worries i don't mind hearing them again 😀 i love these stories no matter how many times i hear them they never get old. Hope everyone is having a great evening.
If anyone is looking for scary movies to watch there's a new one on netflix i just watched yesterday called "House of the witch" i know some people are are in the mood for scary movies since it's October so i thought i would throw a suggestion out to my MM fam. There's alot more to. If anyone wants any more suggestions for horror movies just let me know I'd be more than happy to throw out a few more tttles. Oh sinister 2 is coming to netflix Oct 11th if anyone is interested in that. Anyways i hope you all have a good thursday 💕💕💕✌🎃 👻
You need to put a disclaimer for Tom's story because I was NOT expecting to be crying at a Starbucks while listening to this video like a crazy lady 😨😭 my heart!!!!
That story about the guy with autism warms my heart. What a genuin and lovely way to handle the situation by inviting him in and take care of him once a week. ❤
As someone in the same situation as story with Chris learning close quarter combat techniques is empowering, now when psycho dude threatens me I can hold a defensive stance that says “come at me bro, see what happens” and repeating “self defense is not murder”
As someone with severe autism (I am competent but I have severe chronic pain and can’t function very well because of that) I was really worried about the first story. So many times now days I’ve seen people treat autism as being insane or say it like it’s the new r slur. I was really worried that the first story was going to be one of those cases but I was crying by the end. I’ve had multiple friends like Tom throughout my life and I’m so proud of op for being able to help him ❤
Man I feel really bad for that autistic guy. Im autistic myself and can imagine how scared and confused he must have been. I don't think he intended to hurt anyone originally. When the officers yelled at him they must have scared him. Im glad he got to see the house again, and safely. OP letting him come visit to watch cartoons is so sweet. Thanks for giving him another chance.
The out of shape person who went hiking with her friends who left her behind? They aren't your friends. You were probably dehydrated before the hike. Your body needed more water to function because you are out of shape and upset your 'friends" left you. 3 miles can seem longer due to terrain. Last but not least, don't you hate it when you fit the description of a poor person in front of wealthy people? They already have this idea you live in a house with dirt floors and it seems you don't have running water either.
sometimes i watch reddit stories when i’m bored. i fell asleep to one and began to have one of the worst nightmares i have ever had, which was weird as i don’t dream often. turns out that this video had been playing for an hour and caused me to have such an intense nightmare. good job i guess?
The story of the little girl who has visits from her Grandma Shaver, the Grandma is not a Ghost, shes a Spirit from Heaven. Why is it when Children see loved ones from Heaven which has been the case in many story's that ppl assume their Ghost. Like the true story of the little boy at the time who is now a young man who died and came back with many things to tell of Heaven and ppl he seen in Heaven, name of the book "Heaven Is For Real" I've read the book and seen the movie both excellent, if you havnt seen the movie or read the book, you should.

The story made me tear up a bit. It's so sweet how she was able to befriend him and show that much compassion for someone. 😭
Omg the first story!! So amazing

The first one is so wholesome
Yes, that's such a nice story! I've heard it before some time ago, and I thought it has such a nice ending 😊.
Choked me up a bit. Not an easy feat. It was...beautiful.
Yes it was, so long as the poor chap stays docile. I hope he does.

The first one should be a movie.
These stories would make me fall asleep because these stories are told in the dark
No matter how often i hear the first story,i choke back tears....just beautiful💞
The first one is my favorite! It's so sweet and it gives me hope in humanity☺ thanks Mort!
Nice compilation. Can't believe there was still one I hadn't heard yet!
Narrator is very good. At times his voice reminds me of "Your faithful narrator....Alex" in Clockwork Orange.
That was pretty awesome Mortis! Love when you do Compilation! Thank you for your precious time.

2:17:12 how would she "hear bangs outside of her house even when she's out of the country" if nobody is home to hear them?
You don’t have enough commercials you need to put more. 😂 not even going to bother listening to this to fall asleep cuz the commercials alone will jolt me out of my sleep
Then download them and then play them back without the commercials.... problem solved
I walked into a closed door, last night. That was pretty scary, considering I had forgotten I had closed it moments beforehand!
But, did you really close it!?!?😉👻🤪
It’s stupid ass not scary.
