How to Perform a Tank Turn in the G-Class EV

- Mercedes-Benz introduced the electric G-Class’s tank turn ability back in January, but now we know the feature will make production. By spinning the wheels on the right and left sides of the vehicle in opposite directions, the vehicle can turn in place. Mercedes calls the party trick G-Turn and says the function works on unpaved roads or on loose gravel. The feature automatically shuts off after two complete turns, though the driver can disengage at any point. How often would you use a feature like this off-road? I don’t care who you are, that’s badass.
See moneys buys happiness
😂😅
Thirty steps and you’re there
I want to experience this once in a lifetime
‘ Dig Turn ‘ it doesn’t have ‘ skid steer ‘ aka Tank Turn. One rear brake locks to force the front tires to pivot around it
Did you even watch the vehicle.
Tires have left the chat
ok i HATE nay LOATHE ev’s but i will give it this, that is a hella badass feature! imagine the situations you could get out of using a vehicle like this!
That’s so cool.
Coolest thing ever
That’s fun program
It's a shame Rivian ditched theirs.
Ha 💰 ha 💰 ha 💰
Does this help in Any way,?
Doing this at a light when some one honks
😂💰😂💰😂💰
Me watching this with $10 in my account
Bugs in games
The interior look cheap tho! Overpriced for what U paid for
Notice it’s done on mud, put it on asphalt… the car industry is absolutely junk rn, high prices and poor quality
They put it on asphalt in the Vegas reveal, dumbass.
That's the same as not using 4wd on grippy surfaces.
What aloe IQ comment. Tell us you know nothing about drivetrains without telling us you know nothing about drive trains.
How about you put your suv in 4 low with a locked transfer case and drive in tight circles for a few minutes in an asphalt parking lot.
The crazy thing is the G wagon is one of the few super quality vehicles, All their other cars are just 100% plastic at this point
@@oswaldogarcia5358 I’m a merc fan since a kid, always loved the brand. But these new releases with 4 cylinders and full ev are gimmick, the entire industry is selling low quality garbage, and higher prices, you will never need that spinning feature, unless your surrounded by zombies
It will only do 2 turns, because any more will damage an electronic something!
Do you still have manual windows
@@letsplaygtag4842 He's probably wishing the Model T would do a comeback, nothing like a car with a hand crank = more reliable mentality. These people are such losers.
@@great_deceptionI disagree
People who drive ev are the loser
I've never seen a more boomer comment lmfao go learn something man
Guess the “Bumpimg GLE/Maybach” is old news now…..THIS is the SAND BUMP for ‘25….enjoy the meme show NOW….ya “Rich Ba$tdard$”…….
Imagine the cost for that differential
One motor per wheel, no diff needed.
Nobody cares, we are all here for shenanigans
@@ashleyrose. How about you shut your mouth
Don’t think electrics have differentials if each wheel has a motor
Yea if there's an independent motor for each wheel, then the differential is some sensors and lines of code
