Guys I want to put it across, you need to understand all these analysis and paralysis is very easy from a 3rd party perspective.
A) You have seen the video and your mind has been influenced to find clues which will tell it’s a scam, finding it real time is difficult.
B) When he said you have taken commission for money laundering, then I was a little confused but still I had felt it was a scam.
I wanted to give gaali but I thought agar alsi hua na even by 1% toh Mera bohot todeinge ye log. That’s why I wanted to take a pause and assess whether I am being scammed or not. I wanted to be calm and see, fir ye log pakda gaye.

I also got this call in pune and I was shit scared. That guy was very trained and professional. But when he said he will transfer my call then I abruptly disconnected the call. Then he called me again and asked why I disconnected the call. I just said there was some network issues and I am reaching Andheri police station in 30 mins. He was speechless. I avoid the disrespectful behaviour and language. Anyway Thanks for the awareness guys.

First rule is the Police or Any crime bureau if any crime is recorded under your name, will always send summon or notice ….they will never call….Hope this is a lesson for you both😅

Exactly, With all due respect to both of you, No Police, NO CBI, NO Enforcement agencies, does so much talking on phone, they simply summon you to local police station.
Can I tell you their language tone was not at all From Mumbai they were sounding a lot South Indian English accent so let’s also be little smart and don’t interact with any unknown number then better disconnect
I was searching for this comment wondering if its only me who felt that it was the first red flag, mumbai police + bansal and south Indian accent doesnt add up at all..
Exactly the guy had bansal surname which is common amongst the north indians while this dude was speaking in the south indian accent.....

This happened with me a couple of months ago and I was told that the parcel was sent using my name to Malaysia. I also got scared because this was new and initially sounded authentic. Scary because they said the parcel is stuck in custom because there was something illegal in that. Anyway I immediately understood and hung up on the call.
This has exactly exactly happened with my husband 2 months back where he was connected with mumbai police and with a renowned police man who’s name was on google.. but during this conversation with so called police they asked to money and that’s when we got to know that it’s a big scam and he tackled it accordingly and also made cyber complaint.. this is word to word exactly happened with him

Same call came to me..and they said the same thing about the parcel being stuck and it has some illegal item..and they told me that they have my aadhar card number and I should re confirm them my aadhar card no...as I am also a small business owner,I first thought that it might be true but after split second I asked the guy to tell my aadhar card number as he was saying he has it..then in the next second he cut the call and never contacted again. What I learnt is not to trust anyone & only trust your instinct.

1) Inke speaking accent se pata chal raha hai that they are from South India aur wo Mumbai police ka person ban ke baat kar raha hai
2) When the so called police has started saying his Skype ID at that time he was using all South Indian states and cities name

Thanks soo much Akancha❤❤ for sharing this video as the same thing happened with me but in a different way and I don't know how the scammers know all the details of mine, but his voice was very friendly to me like he knows me since last many years( Khan uncle )...but thank God I cut the call directly and blocked him... Later I get soo many calls that whole week from different numbers even msg on WhatsApp... I went through that situation I was literally soo scared after that. And the numbers were some private numbers like a normal one... Just waiting for another video of this situation from Abhineet's side.

First of all, in Mumbai Police mostly policemen are Maharashtrian, the guy is so evidently sounding South Indian. I would suspect from that itself 😃 And always try to do in person validation for such matter.

Glad that you made this video whether it was purposely or not but while watching I was shit scared,by d way I don't know you guys observed it or not the lady with which abhineet firstly had conversation initially was talking in Telugu accent and after realising it was scammer and abhineet called her again her accent changed to Mumbai kind of and the police officer with whom he had Skype call his accent was also Telugu kind of and he was pretending to be from Mumbai

Hi Akancha same incident happened with us also in August we can relate to it same my hushband also doesn’t entertain these type of calls but that day somehow he picked up luckily i was there and cut the phone after that they called continuously from different numbers

Same happened with me a month back. They told me employee id and everything related to the parcel which contain illegal substances. But , that was a big scam .

Hey, I got the exact same call a month back, very professional and provided all the information asked for but yeah I was able to identify it as a scam somehow and as soon as I mentioned that my husband will speak to the police(as they asked to file a case if that order wasn't mine) he started fumbling and the call was disconnected 😅. luckily I didn't confirmed or provided any information to them, but still just to confirm I called actual FedEx team and provided them the tracking no and they confirmed that was an incorrect no. They took this report to their cyber team, but after seeing this i think this is still going on.
But seriously you guys hats off for putting this video! It’s gonna help so many of us!

Hi, same thing happened with me, I’m from Bangalore too. With the tone, I can say same lady called me, 1month back. Same scam story. I told her, all this happened through Fedex, so please raise a complaint via Fedex, and she immediately cut the call. I was worried, for half an hour. But then googled about this and got to know, its scam.😅
Submit a complaint on Central Govt 's portal (and check the url before mentioning anything 😆). Also, try to lodge a complaint in cyber thana/ cyber police station, every state has established cyber thana/stations. Or contact/report to state level cyber deptmnt. Don't connect with local level officers, reach out to higher officials for faster redressal.

In my POV, they must have got the call from the fraudster but they knowingly made it a content out of it by stretching this far.😅
Omg, I too got in a scam as well, gave all my bank details and they took my money from the account and I was like how did I do that, knowing that we are not supposed to share bank details or the OTP etc but I did and I felt so so foolish.
Now very alert to the calls I get.
