I had uploaded this and a viewer quickly pointed out that I incorrectly stated that GEDORE was an Austrian company. GEDORE is a German company, though they do manufacture products in Austria. I took the original upload down, did a quick edit and reuploaded.
Pretty much just spanners and sockets from Germany i think. They've had plants in South Africa and India also
@@chadroy16 Tool storage is also made in Deutschland as well. Some tools are made in Austria and Slovenia(tool company Unior).
The insulated socket on the non-insulated ratchet won't prevent you from being shocked. At best, it will prevent an arc from something you might bump into with the side of the socket by accident, but it won't do anything for the bolt you place the socket on.
I’m so glad Norm Macdonald’s voice will live on in you! 😁 I love your channel.
Sometimes the pocket knives have that slot for paracord, small rope, etc. idk if they are for seatbelts technically but I guess it depends on how the manufacturers marketed it.
On another note get yourself a spyderco knife and enjoy. I would say try the Japan made lockback versions of you want try something cheaper but good. They do have numerous different lock styles and different countries of origin that greatly affects price but I would say the Japan ones are best bang for your buck.
Nice stuff as always! I'm not really a knife guy either and this just confirms my standpoint of that if you're going to buy lower price knives go for as few frills as possible and proven designs. Cheap and simple can mix well, like Morakniv or Opinel.
I am german and I also use Morakniv, Opinel and Victorinox (EDC). I really like german tools, but for knives I go with knive companies instead of tool companies.
Really enjoyed your video’s 👍👍
Really appreciate the demo on the tools
That Hazet knife locks perfectly everytime for me, just the first time it didn't so I pushed the spring over. maybe some paint/burrs in the way?
That Felo tack remover seems to work nicely. Might have to get one of those. BTW, I have the Hazet knife and like it for the money I paid. I believe it was no more than $15 from amazon de. I keep it in my tool cart and primarily use it to cut out the seals from bottles of washer fluid and oil. Also, mine locks fine but the manufacturing standard is clearly not high so I can see it being a hit and miss case.
getting a knife from hazet or gedore is the same as going to mcdonalds for their salads....
Those knives are like 5$ gas stations knives made in China!
I'm sure that plastic clip will be the first thing to break. I love small rechargeable flashlights.Tired of replacing batteries and corrosion. I am looking for the perfect barrel type with swivel head, rechargeable of course.
Have the Felo tack claw from OBI house rebrand LUX with a blue nilon handle, they make a needle and a 4 corner bradawl in same style and size
(found it buried between chinesium stuff) only hint that its a quality tool was the made in germany :D and the handle style i recognized from somewhere
My fav tool channel cuz you have tools most don’t have or consider - especially variations of the popular ones. What do you do as your job?
Even Leatherman seatbelt cutters don’t cut belts. Must be made in the same place rebranded.
Isn't the red handled felo a plastic rivet remover? DMM meter?
Skip the junk knives and just buy a Benchmade, a hogue trauma, Spyderco rescue assist or fox knives A.L.S.R.
Hey dude you should check out Unior tools from Slovenia!Brilliant stuff!
What's different in this upload?
In the previous upload I had incorrectly stated that Gedore was an Austrian company, its German, but they manufacture some products in Austria.
Yup those are all crappy knives. Try an American company like Benchmade or Spyderco. They miles above what those knives are.
