Mihoyo were never selfish. What do you expect out of a free game? If they were actually selfish we wouldnt even recieved the anniversary rewards or maintenance primos

fun fact: before Tears of Themis there's Genshin Impact. before Genshin Impact there's Honkai Impact 3rd, before Honkai Impact 3rd there's Girls Gun Z(Houkai Gakuen), which is a 2D shooting game with the almost same chars & lore setting of HI3. Unfortunately that game is no longer playable.
The Chinese version of Tears of Themis was actually released a few months before Genshin
