I was a lucky migrant. My parents immigrated to Australia in 1970 from Denmark. I look around the world and see dire straits that some find themselves in to the point of risking everything, life and limb to find a safe place to call home, and every day I thank fate that I am a lucky immigrant, every day. One African man returned home to Africa. When interviewed he said he was glad he left home because he was able to build another house, and marry another woman . Many of these migrants pay thousands to smugglers , no one held a gun to their heads. There are citizens in the USA with only fifty dollars savings, so 99% of these people are economic migrants. All these kids drowning in the sea, it's never the migrants fault. It is the same story with the drug problem, it is always the sellers fault, no personal responsibility. All of these Charity workers ''''saving''' these people, are running a business. These rescuers''' take more than 95% of the charity as their salary. They have several houses and the biggest yacht on the seas. If the public at large really cared, then put the blame on the migrants, Africa is a land of wood, water, and fertile soil, stay home and cultivate
