I’m from England and I’m about to go to university to do a masters in psychotherapy. I’m quite talented in the field and I’m also highly keyed into the gnostic cult religion of wokism. When I get to university I fully expect to be required to adopt “the people’s perspective” and I’ll refuse outright. If I’m pushed then I know I can rely on myself to articulate very strongly exactly what my problems are and why I’m refusing to join the cult. I hope I can bring people to a true understanding and I’ll reach people but it’s quite a long shot.

Exposing yourself early on as a rebel is effectively shooting yourself in the foot. They are the ones in power in that arena, and they will use that power to get you out somehow. What you could do is play along with their nonsense, all the while collecting as much hard evidence of what's really going on in there as you can. These people are fighting dirty - we need to fight dirty too..

The best way to help is to know the truth about this revolution to destroy western society. When we are able to speak the truth accurately, we can openly rebel against this revolution by teaching normies about the lies spoken through the "motte and bailey fallacy". We need to expose the fragility of this revolution as it is very likely that the majority would reject the revolution if only they had enough understanding.

I think it’s the first time I’ve heard actual appropriate descriptions of the people involved in the “world show”. I’m certainly able to identify those participants who are very inline with what you described, and like you I can only ask for more vocal support from the silent majority of doubters, as taking all the heat has been tough but a lifelong struggle as well.
I guess I had trained for being the “voice” for reason and accountability so long, at this point (last 5-6 years)I don’t even consider courage as a necessary attribute, it’s just I can’t be any other way. Saying what is true and right and goes against what most people are told to believe, has been isolating and aggravating and damaging, but worth every moment of it.
The good part ; I did realize that most people who surrounded me were not yet true to themselves. Cleaned out my life effectively.

    A pretty good analysis.
    I recognize the types.
Something to examine with every issue in the news.
I always functioned as an outsider and an observer, often backing the play of a rebel.
I would speak up when others wouldn't, but I usually ended up kicked out.
It wasn't very effective, and the leaders always labelled me as a loose cannon.

I recently confronted my 65 year old leftist mom on politics and it was a disaster. She lives alone, with her cat, reads the Washington Post religiously and watches PBS Newshour. So she has been sufficiently brainwash by these people so I try to talk some sense to her and she just cuss me out. I stood my ground and didn't back down despite her best attempts to shame me. But she took an unusually long shower and I think she was crying. Now I feel awful and I haven't been able to sleep for a few days because of guilt. I don't know if I made the best decision because she was so much happier without the confrontation, but the state of our country was eating me away and it was due to some of the politics she subscibes to.

Focus not on convincing them but simply saying what is true. And don't ever let yourself think that you are better then them, I have made that mistake myself. Debate skills are useful for an audience, but they won't help you talk to a friend. Also be very precise in what you say, save links to sources and speak about those things. Nothing wrong with saying I don't know. And simply questions can make it clear that the other person doesn't know either.
What do you mean by that?
How do you know what your saying is true?
What if you are wrong about that?
Why does what your saying matter?
Almost no one can answer these 4 questions, and they really show what someone's true motivations are. If you don't know what to say, just ask questions.

I'd try talking to people more about achieving high life fitness and throwing political takes only off-hand. That will appeal more to the normies and the strivers and maybe will help you too.

  • @hq21
    @hq21 ปีที่แล้ว +2

It might be true that being the second one to speak out requires more courage than the first. What is for certain is that being the second is far more EFFECTIVE than being the first. For instance, college professors are used to dealing with a compliant audience to soak up their claptrap with only the occasional one speaking out against him. When a second rebel joins in it tends to unnerve the professor. Because one is just that, one. But two can mean 3 or 5 or the whole class. More importantly it greatly increases the courage of the other doubters in the room and makes the normies more easily indo doubters.
So look for every opportunity to be the second to speak out and take that opportunity.

16:40 There was no second who stood up.
I saw it would fall like dominos, a house of cards, if one, maybe two, did. You're speaking from my heart here, or whatever you say in english. All of the things said, I have at least touched upon on several notes flying around here over the years. Of course the perpetrators seek to gaslight about the very process they employ as well as what could defeat them, sowing further doubt, especially through their conscious and unconscious agents. I had figured it out surprisingly early, but not found enough confidence in it, trapped in that endless gaslighting prison of self-defeating doubt and more. I want to say, think, I just failed to inspire people, was not thorough enough, not pushy enough, because that is so contrary to my nature - doing this feels like walking on your hands, and it seems to require it. People too far away to affect things directly, who would have kicked in some doors, metaphorically speaking, had they been closer, said I was the one made an example and from just how many people told me that they knew it was bad and it was wrong what was being done... That was the majority. But nobody dared to even speak with each other, so everyone thought that everyone was on board with the bad stuff, although nobody except the parasitic infiltrating ringleaders were, although nobody was on board. It was just a demon, an imagination that everyone was alone, that everyone was the only one against the wrongness. Divide and conquer, I guess.
In this case, divide not by class or such, but by fear itself.
I should have just gotten them all, or at least a seed group of 3-5 in a room, that had all already individually told me their real stance beneath their cowardly silence, so they could see the others, and that they're almost half a football team already, and thus making up a significant portion of the group (especially when it's the more active core members of the group).
Why didn't I? I did think of it. Aside from other twisted nonsense probably rooted in childhood by not wanting to bother people in the slightest (that makes you a very easy target btw), doing this very thing seemed to me conspiratorial and manipulative, and isn't that what the bad guys do? I don't wanna be like the bad guys, so much so that I mistook something that isn't that, but is similar, for that. Of course the bad guys would accuse you of conspiracy if you did that, because that's what they're doing. However, this would not have been manipulate, because it would have been to dispel the manipulation, to dispel the illusion, to negate the magic spell. Sharing truth negates the magic. Opening people's eyes to what's really going on and showing them that they're NOT alone is what gives them strength - the "evil wizards", the narcissists and psychopaths, put their spells on people under the pretense of doing that.
The bad guys always use the corrupt form of something, of the thing they name as good.
Never think that the pure form of something, the real form of something makes you like them, because it seems similar to their corrupted form.
Sorry for the rant, maybe cryptic words... this is... hits a lot of personal wound spots.

I'm a defector and I'm glad, but the frustrating thing is not being able to get more people to also defect. And I think the main reason is that they don't want to go against the grain or rock the boat. Which I can understand. People don't like to lose friends or cause conflict in their lives. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, even though it's exhausting sometimes.

My estimation is that normies make the vast majority of the population and they only believe whatever it is that they perceive will make their lives easier or less difficult when it comes to things related to general society. Normies are not bad people necessarily, they just don't care enough about anything other than their limited interests to have an informed opinion on it and therefore, shouldn't be allowed to "voice" their opinion through voting on things they know nothing about and have no interest in learning.
But I guess that's a talk for another day...

@@KopperNeoman I agree. However, I'm not talking about having some people rule over others, but having only the concerned be the custodians of the nation/society.
The founding fathers of the US had it so only land owners could vote and the reasoning for this was that these people had a stake in the well being of the country long term. Today you can't implement something like that because a lot of people who care about the well being of the nation don't own land and a lot of people who own land don't care about it also (Bill Gates comes to mind). However, I think a test on basic civic knowledge (i.e. write 1 amendment from the bill of rights), basic history (i.e. name a founding father of the US) and basic current history (i.e. who is the current vice president of the US) should be given before every election to be eligible to vote. Also, perhaps some kind of service to the nation to grant you the option to take the test to vote as well. There are so many options for this.
Allowing people to vote indiscriminately and therefore allowing people who don't know and don't care to make decisions about the nation can only lead to the downfall of the nation.

The answer was a resounding, "no....because they will destroy you and your family." Its hard to choose which propaganda campaign to side with, because the oppositional teams seem to be equal in their ass-hol-ed-ness. I guess Im a doubter looking to be a rebel. I win arguments, and I'm completely ruthless with these people.
The rebels are usually those with little to lose, or people who have such a strong sense of right and wrong that no fate is more terrible to them than to compromise their morals. I'm somewhere in between. I would rather have died than to take the jab. I didn't know how far the New Zealand government would go with their mandates, but I realized in that moment that for me, personally, bending to their will in that particular matter was a fate worse than death. Sigh......(O_O)
This framework also applies to my situation where an individual "ringleader" has moved into my neighborhood and is trying to turn it into if not a true "GANG" area then one friendly/accepting of gang behaviors. By that I mean organized crime, drugs, and violence with an entire secondary economy for the unemployed (and unemployable...) "strivers".
As I'm the one-and-only "rebel" who is that one blade of grass the ringleader has to cut down in order to convert the entire city block, it has been very rewarding to anticipate and thwart the actions of his "Minions" to the degree the ringleader himself showed up at my home to state (while on hidden camera of course...), "If this were Mexico you'd already be dead" and lot's more thug intimidation/threat speak.
But on a pure and practical level, the ringleader continues to "game" the other residents by creating interactions with them and then DARVO when they contact the property manager or law enforcement. He can't get past ME so his little gang operation is effectively limited/bottlenecked/quarantined to an area along just one street.
Just saying that even IF on a purely practical (games theory) level the rebels act flawlessly the threat is NEVER eliminated. When this ringleader eventually gets incarcerated there'll be another "striver" ready to rise up and take his place.
I mean, the ringleader before this one tried to do a hostile take-over of my home (have me improperly evicted with the cooperation of a corrupt landlord...). He failed and due to his failure/shame left to pursue more "favorable" ventures elsewhere. But the vacancy he created was filled in rather quickly.
The take-a-way? The same tactics used/recommended to "Fight a Tyrannical Movement" can't effectively be used to prevent a ringleader from taking over a neighborhood and turning it into an area where organized crime is the new "Normal". If it doesn't work on this small scale then applying it on a large scale will achieve similar outcome(s).

@@saldownik The first "striver" actually announced to the group that getting me to move out or be unfairly evicted was such a "done deal" (easy, quick, cheap, and although done openly in plain sight it was "on the down-low"), he was going to throw a block party for everyone. Just the "gang friendly" members and their families were invited.
There was going to be live music, dancing, free food, and free alcohol (party favors too-drugs) for the adults. For the kids? Pinatas and a bouncy castle. This celebration was to take place at MY home after the plan was successful and he took ownership.
Part of the celebration was to formally give the home he WAS living in to one of the soldiers who took the lead in the harassment campaign. Just as a reward for "services rendered to the cause" like as in medieval times. Another announcement was that this was just the beginning as this same tactic was to used on the next person then the next until the entire neighborhood was one homogeneous zone .
Then he would offer to the attendees and their families the opportunity to do favors for him in exchange for him doing favors for them. As these people were not only unemployed but generally unemployable to anything without a low entry barrier/low skill/low pay job? Of course they would say yes to easy and nontaxable income.
They would become part of the gang's business model which is structured in the shape of an iceberg. True gang members with all the outward appearances of colors and tattoos being less than 10% of their numbers but garnering 90% of the public's/law enforcement's attention and resources. Yet these "gang-friendly" people with no criminal history could/would be subcontracted on an as needed basis to do all the things the gang "peacocks" couldn't do without getting unwanted/unproductive attention.
This was enough of an incentive for the gang friendly people to move forward and join the neighborhood "Boss" in group harassment. Which did prove successful in displacing two other residents prior to failing to work in my situation. Those two other residences are now occupied by gang friendly owners who showcase the nice homes they have and exactly how they acquired them. (_Oo)

It's so easy to see that all we need to do is unite but that's why you see so much energy directed at pointing out our differences instead of our similarities. Anytime they try to work on our emotions instead of the facts then you should be able to realize you're being manipulated. If you notice, everything woke is rooted in emotions and "feelings". Sadly I lost so much respect for people lately and don't know how to get it back. "The only requirement for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing."-E. 4:50 Oh damn, this is on point with what I concluded from abusive groups, or such that are infiltrated by narcissistic exploiters who always go in to build a cult of personality (this ideology just gives them even better tools to catalyse that as it is a perfect guide to virtue signal moral superiority and thereby get rid of all dissenters or present or past victims of the abuser): It is the spineless, the cowardly, that enable them - even when in private they tell you that they know this is wrong and that the bad people are really bad people, they will tell to your face, with some whiny undertone as if to have pity with them, while you are the actual target of the abuse, that they won't say anything for they fear the abuser and don't want to be the next target - without them realizing it they say they throw you under the bus for their own imprisonment in the cult that they think wrong - usually because all their social life is tied to the group. This can just be a hobby group by the way, it doesn't need to be a political party or some such.
In the long run I generalized/distilled this to: There are inherently evil people in the world, those high in dark tetradic traits, especially sadism, and on the counter side there are those that are exceptionally low in those traits. Depending on whether you are also a good person, low in dark tetradic traits or not, depends on whether you have courage, whether you have spine, whether you have principles you will stand by. Then your fear cannot override your altruism.
Both of these extreme groups are very rare, but one affects the world more than the other: The Evil ones, because they are constantly looking out to get more ressources for themselves to feed their egotistical hunger. While inherently Good(tm) people do not, they are fine with what they have and usually only take a stand when bothered or those that they care about under direct threat.
Think of Tom Bombadil in the Lord of the Rings - he doesn't bother with the world, but would stomp out Sauron if he stepped on his turf. Maybe that's not the best example as that lacks that fire of justice people associate with the ultimately good, the heroes and saints so to speak. Those that average people look to and hope they'll do something so they themselves don't have to - which is really fun when you're the target of an abuse cult (think of these "cancellations") and the average people hope that you yourself are the hero to fights back, because they certainly won't do it for you, as they are, as James Lindsay said, cowards.
This brings us to the third group in this, if you want to call it that, eternal battle between good and evil: The average masses. They are legion. This is quantity. The two extreme groups are exceptional people.
The average and especially cowardly masses are being fought over by the evil side the most, as the good guys are rather bad at organizing. Not only do the latter have little interest in doing that, they also don't like to preach, and as a buddhist monk once put it: You can only work with individuals, not change the whole world. - The evil, dark tetradic people, do want to change the whole world though, and that only ever ends bad for the world, and they seek to corrupt every organization - which is another reason the good guys who already don't organize very well, being and preferring to be real individuals (contrary to the solely outwardly fake, fashionistic pseudo-individualism of the dark tetradic types), when do finally organize, that organization is immediately under attack by the evil side of things - and most good types then usually lack the experience, the knowledge and wisdom, of how to spot and deal with that without also turning tyrannical, whilst not falling for the emotionally manipulative tricks of the narcissistic toolbox of their opponents inside and out.
In short, it is neither the good nor the evil people that decide the fate of the world - especially the latter will always exist, monsters will always exist and we know what makes them (some are simply biological anomalies) - It is instead the cowardly masses, the average people, who every single day decide for which side to act. If they don't support their heroes, or mature enough to become heroes themselves, and instead succumb to their fear of the monsters and out of that rather support them, then it all only goes one way. At best, their fear will paralyze them and flee and thus leave the field for the bad guys to take over. They desert, and thus create the desert.
In drastic terms: The heroes and monsters don't have a decision, they are the way they are; they have developed into that.
It is the cowards who decide who wins. The undeveloped. For they are legion.

I respect and appreciate James so, so much. That's why it's so disappointing to hear him encourage this kind of gatekeeping against the supposed "fake" rebels he deems as reactionaries. I don't know a single reactionary who could also honestly be called a Fascist who wants to install the next Mussolini or something. It's fine if James thinks that, but he needs to do a real, thorough breakdown of why he thinks their critiques of Liberalism are invalid before summarily dismissing so many potential allies.
At the end of the day, we don't have to agree with people's prescriptions to benefit from their analysis of the problems. Someone like Yarvin, for example, whose prescription I find unworkable on nearly every conceivable level, nonetheless has several valid analysis to contribute. Same with Michael Malice or Auron MacIntyre. In all reality, there are people to our *Left* who fall into that category. Helen Pluckrose, Peter Boghossian, or even a Bill Maher type. They don't understand the full extent of the problem, and certainly don't have workable solutions, either. But that doesn't mean they should be dismissed outright as having nothing to contribute. Same with anyone who critiques Liberalism, which seems to be the people James is going after with this gatekeeping.
I'd love to see Boyce or Michael Malice set up some kind of conversation between James and someone like Auron MacIntyre, The Distributist, etc. I really believe James would come around on some of his hostility to their ideas after a conversation like that.
Either way, keep up the good work, James. Disagreements aside, you're one of the hardest workers and most valuable assets we have right now. Keep on keepin' on 🤙

"Speaking of ideology, Political Ponerology explains a phenomenon that had vexed me. How did Communist ideologues manage to convince the masses that they undertook their crimes for “the workers,” or “the people,” or egalitarianism? But even more perplexing, how did the ideologues convince themselves that their crimes were for the good of the common man? Łobaczewski explains that totalitarian ideology operates on two levels; the terms of the original ideology are taken at face value by true believers, while the party insiders substitute secondary meanings for the same terms, and normal people are subjected to gaslighting. Only the cognoscenti, the psychopaths, know and understand the secondary meanings. They recognize that actions purportedly undertaken on behalf of “the workers” translate into the domination of the party and state on behalf of the psychopaths themselves. The truth is the opposite of what the party insiders claim to be the case, and they know it. Political Ponerology thus explains the origin of “doublespeak,” which Orwell portrays so well. Coincidentally, Łobaczewski finished Political Ponerology in 1984."

James saying what I've said so many times with this. The linear explanation is not very good, and benefits "strivers" going back and forth between different rings. People already have an idea of this with the concept of the pendulum, but "it is not merely phenomenon, it is a weapon wielded." Often used to encourage and be happy about the "reaction," and even suggest that it's "not worth it" or "impossible and fruitless" to go at grabbing that weigh being swung around to stop it or at least bear upon it.
It's the similar or outright same triangle, two-dimensional model for authoritarian vs liberty; where the linear model everyone believes represents the opposing of different authorities, and the supposed "center" is still authority compromised or mixed between them, where liberty lies off elsewhere away from those means and against the fundamentals of those means. So any opposition are rebels, and therefore you can equivocate between them arbitrarily regardless of what scope their in and represent them as something else.
I'd say a lot of potential more "reactionaries" tend towards "striver" as they don't have an understanding of those scopes of opposition, and only really care about their general opposition for their demand, rather then other scopes of opposition alongside what they have disagreement with. _Sorta, incapable of small victories, or just incapable of operating in another scope with a believe that that doing so ordains things they disagree with which is not true. Very "all or nothing" and can't save others for their sake alone, against being deceived/exploited. It's very worth it to have real disagreements not being followers/strivers._
Unfortunately, I have little to none influence... a shut-in out in the middle of nowhere. And that nowhere comes in that there is no one to support either in that "bum" manner.

Which one begets the other, I don't know. It seems though that Wokeness, which is deconstructionist anti-logic, is catalyzing the Great Awakening, which is Critical Thinking grounded in Reason and Reality

I am a rebel. I am a doctor who once went public opposing an unjust law which coerced health workers to arrange the killing of full term babies. I had a support group of doubters but they were discouraged by the leader of a church which owned hospitals, schools and services which received government funding. So doubters can be undermined if their support for the very principles this church stands for results in loss of funding and therefore threatens that church 's place in society.
Moral of the story - check who is demanding the allegiance of the doubters and who has bought the silence of that group. Also never trust a Catholic Archbishop.

You divide rebels into two groups: true rebels and reactionaries. There's actually three groups, but to distinguish them we first have to recognise that it's not a "rebellion" but a counter-revolution. You're not dealing with tyrant king, you're dealing with a revolutionary junta. Now you can recognise the three types of counter-revolutionary. You have the reactionary, you have the contrarian, and you have the revolutionary who has found himself on the outs.
When the pendulum was swinging the other direction, when it wasn't a counter-revolution but a revolution, he was gung ho for guilloting the aristocrats and moving the junta into the palace. Now that the revolution is devouring her own children and the junta is pointed at him, he finds himself hestitantly in bed with the counter-revolutionaries.
He finds himself fighting a war on two fronts because he lacks the humility to admit that the revolution was in error in the first place. He doesn't want to restore the nobility, he rejects the notion of nobility. He does not believe that the problem was that the tyrant king was vicious, he believes that kings cannot be virtuous in the first place. He's wrong, but he doesn't want to return to the peasantry because he lacks the virtue of contentment. Maybe you could say he's a striver with foresight.

When James Lindsey dismissed the ringleaders calling the rebels ringleaders by saying that's only some of them, it's not a true refutation. If the rebels are the authority of dissenters (assumed from the setup) then they are the ringleaders. It's shown in a simple question, when the rebels gain power, what happens next? Whether you have a romantic view or a pessimistic view, the rebels thought leaders become the next ringleaders.
It is exactly this phenomenon that we can see in the cult of woke. They perpetually see themselves as the rebels to authority, even when that authority is aligned to them, and it is because they have this same perspective. There is even a rational, if not realistic, argument that could be mapped Lindsey's hierarchy of people's: "Republicans are the ringleaders, Democrats are the strivers, normies are still normies, there are some skeptical doubters, and we (the woke) are the rebels". Would they ever come to this conclusion? No, but this is to show that Lindsey's paradigm is flawed from only having a narrow perspective rather than a broad understanding of power dynamics.

The reason is so that you're able to speak to normies about our counter-revolt and speak with authority about the details behind our counter-revolt.
