After seeing the whole episode, Jieqiong has the right to be upset about the rankings. Compared to who she was paired against, she was the one who made a breakthrough as an artist (with the intent of fusing traditional and modern music), which is really different from the others. Hopefully this unique style of hers will bloom better results, opportunities, and more stages. Proud of Jieqiong!
From a non fan perspective, this is just like singing + playing + dancing three segments combined together. Each segment is just independent of each
That’s understandable, however we should also note how her performance progressed: She started out with a traditional song (acapella before being accompanied), then went to playing the lute (pippa), to which the chords? or melody? (not sure) were used to her modern dance, which was the very thing she wanted show. But their mentor (the host) did say that it (her fusion style) could scare the audience, that’s why she didn’t get a lot of votes. But good thing the other judges commended her for it. Just wish for a more artistic breakthrough from the others too.
@@richchilds7198 sadly it doesn't feel like anything from a non fan perspective on fusion. It feels like three different part (each on its own) glue together.
For example, there are people who use Chinese dance technique in kpop beats. That's an apparent fusion, or using the lute + beats together. Thats an artistic breakthrough.
What she is doing here is similar to singing Acapella, dancing kpop, playing a musical instrument.

As an IOI fan, I understand the result of that episode. Compared to what she could show us before, we can see that she has lost her passion and confidence as an idol. She is trying to get it back but it might be more difficult for her than for the others since it's either a breakthrough or a thing they are already excellent at. While Kyulkyung didn't have the chance to train properly for a while and we can see it.
Though as I listened to every songs of Shan Yi Chun since I've discovered her on the first episode of Stage Boom, Shan Yi Chun didn't make breakthrough at all (only the high note was different from her standard high note). Yes, her voice was the most amazing, as always. But it's dissapointing as well. At least I would have prefered her to sing a ballad since it's her strongest and most impressive side.
In the end, I think this last segment Shan Yi Chun vs Kyulkyung was dissapointing. We can see Kyulkyung is yet to find her confidence back which makes her performances lacking emotions and charisma. Shan Yi Chun stayed in her comfort zone without even going where she is the best at.
I hope those two will takes the chance to improves while they still can. It's not when the show will end that they will be able to show a booming.

After watching all the girls' performances, i still couldn't feel much from ZJQ's performance. However, i think her personality is very suitable for variety shows.
印象最深刻是她在whatta man负责的高音。好像也没有几个舞台是有展现过他的唱功。如果她可以吧韩国的舞台搬过来应该会更好的，毕竟要把在外国学的东西都展现出来。
这个舞台看的出来是在尝试新的东西，但是完成度不高，如果能边唱边跳加上独有的颜值杀气，应该可以排在上圈位置。

@@Butterball2829 uhhh, can't remember clearly anymore. But she cried. She got the lowest score although imo she did better than her opponent who just stood there and sang without doing anything fresh. Then when they were picking partners and songs, she has no say whatsoever since she's in the losers' camp. The winners from the previous mission can choose who they want to work with. But every time she raises her hand, the other party would choose a different partner.

舞蹈絕了，雖然大家一直討論唱功，可是我從對她有印象就是在偶練武到超強，所以一直只看她的舞蹈，所以唱歌無感，畢竟同個舞台的姐姐也是一堆唱歌不是很好，指跳舞

Wow, how the hell did her singing skills improve this much between episode 1 and episode 3?? I'm so shook🤯. Was she just having a bad day in her previous solo performance?
I think on the first performance the nerves got to her (the mentor said she could hear nerves in her voice) so she didn’t perform as how she usually would
She was super nervous and not confident in ep1. This time she also says she's very nervous, but definitely better than the last time. Singing is actually a "mental task" as well as being a physical task. Stress and low confidence can really mess up a vocal performance.
I hope she can continue to grow more and more confident from now on. She has a beautiful vibrato and unique tone that's light and raspy at the same time. She has great potential in singing.
The mentor told her that she could have a vocal tutor but she didn't need it, what she was having was a nervious and confidence problem. If you watch her singung from a couple years back she's been amazing

他的一開始唱功到底多好啊，因為從偶練就只知道跳舞是老師級別，所以聽到他這個舞台覺得唱得很好聽欸，可是大家好像期待值更高?

This badly made show doesn't deserve Zhou Jieqiong she's a whole package who shows unique variation of talent. This show is just seriously badly made, and the other contestants no offense to them but they literally show the same color since episode 1 like I'm fed up with those kind of performances.
這才是女團成員出身應有的表現！雖然沒有唱跳，但是各部分表演分明，均有自己參與，展示的是綜合能力。其他號稱能在個人秀唱跳的，怎麼都焉了呢？VVS 拍攝時誤導了多少觀眾。

@@yanlan1615 可是我覺得滿好聽的，畢竟如果不是vocal唱歌只要像吳宣儀那樣普通就可以了吧
真心觉得洁琼应该找一个更好的声乐老师，重新学一下唱歌。她现在的发声方式太不健康了，很费嗓子，她的声带已经比刚出道时差很多了，再这样唱下去，过几年嗓子可能会废掉的。
很多Kpop公司就是会教idol一些不健康（但短期内见效快）的唱歌技巧，只为了狂飙高音，典型的"拔苗助长"，发声方式不科学，维持不了几年。等这一批idol嗓子废掉了，就换下一批新的idol。洁琼她以前在I.O.I的时候估计就学了这种不科学的唱歌方法，结果嗓子越唱越累。
韩红老师肯定能听出这些问题，希望有机会能提点她一下。很心疼洁琼，希望她能越来越好。
EDIT: 澄清一下，我说让韩红老师提点，是说指出洁琼的问题、推荐她去找一个声乐老师，不是让人家直接教洁琼唱歌，韩红老师是个大忙人，肯定没时间每天教idol唱歌，能收一个陈卓璇都把人当场感动哭了😂
其实我自己从小学声乐，现在有时也会联系以前的声乐老师，让她听听我唱歌有没有退步或者“走歪”，有没有养成一些不好的习惯，有的话就及时调整。
真正健康科学的唱歌，其实是最轻松的，本质就像说话一样，应该是行云流水，完全不伤嗓子的（除非连唱三天三夜哈哈）
反而是那些不科学的唱歌方法，才会让气息变得不稳，发声位置不对，高音飙不上去，音准飘来飘去，各种问题层出不穷。
但这些问题都可以慢慢解决，最快的方法就是找专业老师指导，练好基本功才能长长久久地唱下去。哪怕以后不做歌手了，平时说话都能说得更轻松，不容易伤到嗓子。发声方式不对的话，连说话都容易累，是真的😅
韩红不愿教呀，我真看不明白她
因为……韩红老师是连陈卓璇都考虑了好一下子的人😂 陈卓璇肯定是死磕要当个好歌手的。周洁琼是真的缺好老师，换发声方式也挺难调整的。不过另一方面是她没有给自己一个很准确的定位，或者说，她想做的和她能做的（个人本身能力和市场限制）是不一样的…所以在公司安排下随波逐流了几年，实力掉了一大截。就很可惜
@@z-e3668 我不觉得一定要韩红教，韩红自己也是艺人、平时很忙碌，要收学生也肯定轮不到洁琼这样的“初级”学生，她也没时间陪着洁琼经常练习。国内应该有很多专业的声乐老师，只要洁琼和她的公司团队有这个意向，一定可以找到适合她的老师的。
@@klin7474 我也觉得她对自己的定位不清晰，其实如果她这段表演不唱歌，专注于乐器和跳舞，也会是很炸的舞台，这样至少能扬长避短。不过还是很希望她能调整一下自己的歌声，毕竟她还年轻，而且活到老学到老，只要有决心改变，就还有希望。
