Hi Steve, I’ve been using FSLTL and have the following comments; contrails are excellent but do appear through cloud and occasionally I see the aircraft and contrail through one eye and not the other so maybe it’s an Asobo thing. The traffic in FSLTL is also very good and they have tons of commercial airframes. It looks and feels pretty similar to Just Flights version and of course is free. Like you I wish both products had GA aircraft (there is a setting for this in FSLTL but most airports don’t seem to have any GA!) Great video as always. I’m going for a fly now lol!
I thought it was interesting the Ai taxiied up passed the displaced threshold before rolling. Great video! Im enjoying AIG only because it took me 9 hours to install it and it does a good job of interjecting a bunch of GA Jet traffic which is nice to see. But this is on my list as the quality seems high.
Hey buddy! I do think this has great potential, especially when you consider its low maintenance, the models/sounds are superb and the aircraft interact correctly with ATC. A few niggles here and there but once fixed, this looks to be a winner. Stay well.
I have been using the free version by the fly by wire team , I would have to say that is also very good. It’s a shame you can’t compare the two to see if there are any great differences. It will be interesting to see how this progresses. Thanks as always for the video.
18:50 You were on your BASE leg, not downwind. You were given a pattern entry of left downwind, which I believe you did (whether you knew it or not, lol.) Upwind/Crosswind/Downwind/Base/Final is the order. :) Cheers!
I was looking at this, this afternoon and had watched some other videos. I was interested to get your opinion as others have pointed out there are a few issues. I’ve owned this for other versions of MSFS so I know how good it will be. It certainly adds a realism that the base sim is lacking. I think I’ll let it mature a bit before investing, as there are a few other things that I want to pick up first.
7:44: something that I do want to comment on is that it appears Just Flight doesn't segregate airlines based on which airport they're at like they are in real life. You definitely do not see a mainline United flight sharing the same terminal with Delta, American, or Alaska at SFO, as SFO is one of United's major west-coast hubs and they have a dedicated terminal.
Some great pro’s and con’s by the looks for now, wondering how much damage it might do to VR performance in my 3080 though…..maybe need to upgrade to an uber machine lol. Saw the jetways popping in and out and around 8min mark too, wonder if Asobo, Traffic or scenery bug

I will most definitely be purchasing, but I wonder if I should wait until I get my 4090 card (rather my my current 3090) as I don't really want any more of a frame hit that this seems to add (understandably)...but it looks an excellent implementation by JustFlight, with so much more potential for future development. A great first release by them, which is only going to get better and better. Thanks for your initial thoughts, both good and bad, although to be fair, the bad really aren't that bad at all, and I expect JF will address them quite quickly as they are very good at updating their products on a regular basis... FS Traffic can work really well but it seems made for Jet flyers who go from A to B at 35,000 feet. Flying GA, anything apart from your Departure and Destination airport will be empty. It's a weird ghost town vibe. Using FSLTL to prioritise FS Traffic results in busy airports everywhere but, for some reason, also a lot of weird behaviour which I didn't see in FS Traffic.
Sadly, i'm one who got the crashing. Tried a few things before giving up like putting everything at zero on the traffic screen but then thought to myself, if I have to put fauna and boats and all the other wonderful things I've grown to love in MSFS just to get this to work, it might not be worth it. While I uninstalled it, I will keep it and hope that the crashing gets resolved in future updates like GSX. It's all good because I really had no problem with Fsltl traffic except having to turn it on outside the sim. I do like the features of FS traffic so I hope they can sort it out.
@justflight thanks for replying! It definitely has worked better since the update. It didn't work with GSX though so I had to remove it. I also feel that the action takes about 5 to 10 minutes for planes to start moving around making the airport feel dead. Once it gets started it's amazing! Big fan of FS Traffic, hope you guys keep tweaking and working on it.

FSLTL works great in the same way but at a circle around in km's set in settings around you do no need to enter en destination to prep it with traffic what I prefer like you because I free fly a lot with flight plan and they have very good contrails and more then 2 most the times what is fun if you are in a jet and go check those planes out with the like of the JF Hawk :-) I would love to test the new addon once I can use your gift card that I got from you but in GPB needs to be transferred to EURO, logged a ticket :-) I do reeds FS Traffic brakes or does not work if you have PMS50 GTN-750 installed so that needs to fixed before I buy it because don't fly without it. But the way planes taxi, take off and land looks very detailed even do the planes got up and down rolling on the runways I see on all video's I've seen so yes they need to bug fix some of these issues what they will I'm sure. I wish like you they also add GA planes but those routes / flight data is not available like commercial flights and that must be the reason non of the AI traffic addons include them I'm guessing but would be nice they add random GA planes from my own planes loaded (all of them) :-) ... can you select where you want to install the 25GB plane library? FSLTL only in my community folder that I can move and use addon linker afterward but my community drive is too full so takes a lot of moving addons around what is a pain to fit it on my sim pc... great video, love the camera work you made and super contents. Best so far of FS Traffic to date. Enjoy your weekend.

Does this have a huge hit on FPS at a busy airport (LHR or LAX)? I bought FSLTL, mainly to answer a Facebook group question, and even on a 13900K/4090 it literally halves the frame rate at 4K flat screen with default FSLTL settings 😱. 4090 Frame Generation makes it usable. It would be great if this didn't have the same hit injecting real time traffic. Edit: If this addon doesn't have the same hit at a busy airport then it must be internet or FSLTL limited, and this would be much better for my needs as well.
@@msflight9409 Try KLAX at 4K Full Ultra TAA. Lower resolutions or settings might well do better. I have a short video on my own channel that I made purely to see the FPS hit for someone. I have bought FS Traffic but haven't tried it yet.
Excellent video. Sadly it works for me only with Ground Services disabled and not with GSX Pro. If that would be the case I would stay with it. But sadly I will take a refund. Take care.
There are so many differences. FSLTL is a great program, we're not trying to compete with that though. They offer live traffic, we don't, it's traffic from past schedules. Our models and liveries are a step-up and that's not putting FSLTL down at all. A lot of users are using our models in FSLTL now. In essence both traffic programs but they do things very differently. It's just offering you more choice. Hope that helps.

First time I’m disappointed in your video. Don’t know if it’s true but it seems that JF is pushing a lot of influencers to make a review. It would have been great if you have compared it to FSLTL which is freeware, easy to install and has also good sounds, models and contrails btw. Looking forward to your next video.
I've never used FSLTL which I clearly state in the video, alongside many areas I don't like about the product. How did you miss that? I'm not sure what else you are expecting here, sorry if its not up to your expectations.
Just to give you some balance. JF isn't pushing any 'influencers' to make a review. Any TH-camr is free to make a review in any shape or form they wish. Some of our press contacts have the add-on and it's entirely down to them how they feature it, be it a review, a preview, a first-look video. So it works in exactly the same fashion as it has done with every other release we have published. FSLTL a great program, they did a great job. We offer something a bit different to that and those who have FS Traffic and have it working properly are getting a lot from it and enjoying it immensely. Those with initial issues we are trying to help and we aim to have the next update live next week at some point which we hope will help alleviate a lot of the teething problems.

Does this add on work with (almost) any airport?
The No Traffic problem is due to too many sim objects. Turn off the Ground Services in the FS Traffic Control Center and it will work ok.
I guess some people are not following the simple setup guide from Just Flight then 🤔

FSLTL is freeware. So your comment seems strange. I’m using it every day and it’s not a fps hit. At least not half fps. I’m loosing 10fps.

A GA pack is underway. Most the models are done, they require liveries and then working into the product. Shouldn't be too long off now

From everything you've said in this, I cant see any difference between it and the free FBW addon.
