I don't know if anyone would agree or not but I totally agree with Amma k ye drama ek sazish k tehat bnaya gya hai.. as any politically aware person knows that since regime change and since America has politically taken over Pakistan, there has been a wave of transgender and lgbt content thorughout pakistani television and cinema and now airing such a concept on youtube is another wave to malign the younger generation. For me Barzakh is a huge miss. It is trying too hard and failing at it. Use of symbolism to certain degree works if done well, but trying to put it into every frame and every scene affects story telling. Personally it fails to keep me engaged enough to care about these random ass phrases and visuals which they throw every now and then. I mean if the story cannot find a way to continue in a way where every preceding scene is so beautifully woven into the main theme and storyline that even the randomness of some of the dialogues/visuals doesn’t bother you. But if done excessively, they can’t expect the audience to remember each and every one of these random bits for which the lead up or aha moment will be explained much later in the story. It is a bit too much and too forced. Such a shame that they couldn’t execute it better. And shame on fawad khan and sanam saeed for pedaling the lgbtq agenda. They are not kids they understand our culture, if they don’t agree with this culture they should stop working here. I definitely will not be giving my views to this drama and neither to these irresponsible actors in future.

I agree with Amma and Momin completely about Barzakh. Even if they wanted to include such stuff they shouldve put up disclaimer like Netflix or any streaming app does. Homosexuality wasnt even meantioned in promotions or shown in trailer so the ones who cant accept it do not tune in. Of course people are going to be upset!! Irresponsible behaviour from Asim Abbas, Fawad Khan, Khushhal Khan, Sanam Saeed and everyone who is part of the show!

For me Barzakh is a huge miss. It is trying too hard and failing at it. Use of symbolism to certain degree works if done well, but trying to put it into every frame and every scene affects story telling. Personally it fails to keep me engaged enough to care about these random ass phrases and visuals which they throw every now and then. I mean if the story cannot find a way to continue in a way where every preceding scene is so beautifully woven into the main theme and storyline that even the randomness of some of the dialogues/visuals doesn’t bother you. But if done excessively, they can’t expect the audience to remember each and every one of these random bits for which the lead up or aha moment will be explained much later in the story. It is a bit too much and too forced. Such a shame that they couldn’t execute it better. And shame on fawad khan and sanam saeed for pedaling the lgbtq agenda. They are not kids they understand our culture, if they don’t agree with this culture they should stop working here. I definitely will not be giving my views to this drama and neither to these irresponsible actors in future.
