In Nagoya, Japan: Akira Toriyama's Home Town. Reflecting on Dragon Ball and His Legacy.

I was shocked and saddened to hear that famed Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama just passed away :(. By a strange coincidence I happened to arrive in his hometown of Nagoya, Japan the day that this news became public. Dragon Ball has been a big influence in my life and I wanted to reflect some on what it has meant to me.

The man that was lying on the ground for a few seconds, is a common occurrence, which you probably have already noticed. Japan has a very strong (unhealthy) work culture. People putting in more hours than a fulltime basis. At the end of a workday, they go out to drink with colleagues.
