Well, I watched the replay and I guess this is better than nothing, but it definitely attenuates the lower end of your voice and some of the upper end of your voice. It definitely changes what I know of as your voice.

Yes, this is always a tradeoff with wind protection.

Thanks Curtis. I will try using my spacer bubble with my MKH50 again, and see what happens. Maybe back it off a couple more mm’s. John

At 21:20, yes there is coloration in sound, the quality dropped noticeably with the spacer bubble and the short hair.
