Shed is Life
👏 great to see the impact of full fibre connectivity in the local community.
As long as they phone works after it switches to fibre. Two weeks our neighbour was waiting with no phone line after the 'easy switch from cooper to fibre' they re-registered her number twice and still her phone did not work, they suggested that her phone was 'too old' and incompatible with fibre and if they sent out an engineer to check if her phone was the issue they'd charge £120 call out. So she spoke to me and we encouraged her to ask to put in a complaint and then they rang back and finally agreed to engineers visit. Her phone was not to old it's wireless as BT forum says very few will not work with fibre only rotary phones won't, why they couldn't tell her this over the phone or fix it quicker for a vulnerable customer goodness knows. Manny older people rely on home phones how can they contact KCOM with no mobile will they left without a service for months as the fibre phone switch over continues?
