Yo man, this was a great overview. I've been doing procurer/hulk mining for years and decided it was time to save up for rorq. Very excited to get one of these hulls with all the fixins.
I run 1 rorq with drones + 5-15 hulks along with it its amazing to see how well mining scales
How do you do it?

Is the yield un-sieged dramatically lower than sieged? I'm wondering if the ability to instantly conduit jump to a cyno is worth taking the lower yield? I'm new to the rorqual so I'd appreciate your thoughts?
Unseiged. My drone run about 1 min 40 seconds. Seiged they run at 24 seconds
You can’t really mine with rorquals when unsieged, that’s the point of them: to get that dough you have to put your isk out in space… more or less.
Thing is... they were just NOT meant to be used alone, ever. People use them solo but they know the risks very well and can afford to lose them.
I think this video lacks some crucial information. Especially in regards to specific modules that it can utilize. Such as indy bridge, moon goo compression, capital tractor beam etc.
While I get posting a fit can be controversial. it should have also been noted that rorquals can have a ridiculous amount of tank if fit properly and panic is utilized properly.
Another thing that could be mentioned is the decision between better tank or mining yield when fitting rigs and the perks/cons of such a choice.
Most importantly, a better emphasis on the isk/hr for the amount of risk and investment involved could have been better. While you might enjoy solo rorq mining it should really be stated or at least to remind people that this ship shines as a booster more then anything and that it’s not some end all be all for mining on a capital level by itself at the end of the day.
Out of all the caps ingame I would say that rorquals die with the most god awful fits iv ever seen. A lot of that is due to a lack of information. I hate to rag on this video because your content has actually helped me a ton. You deliver information extremely well, but some important things capability wise are brushed over that at the end of the day would help someone solo rorq mining or not.
How do you think a rorq matches up to an orca/porpoise after the drone nerfs?

Which alliance do you recommend in null for some casual mining activity after a days work?
Locusts. They are a goonswarm mining SIG
horde has a verry good capital protection but you will need the correct fit
I would love this but man the risks are big plus I have no one to watch my back.
Like a 10 bil isk ship God dam.. #jealous...i miss the days of excavators as good as a hulk.. could mine hundreds of millions an hour

nop mining drone cannot mine mercoixit, but if you take another acc with mercoixit skills you can use the rorq boost to mine faster

I do not think there is. This game is just huge money pit.
If you are in siege mode can you cyno out or do you have to be out of siege mode?
